I'm guessing it was figured out just by being familiar with FFXI. Afterall, even just looking at the advertisement without seeing it next to a FFXI map, I'd know right away it was from FFXI.

The numbers and letters down the sides are also a big clue.

Yeah, but what I was getting at was I don't visit the jp disney site very often, and even if i did, i certainly wouldn't have paid attention to the map in the background. Once someone points it out, I immediately identify it w/FFXI. Just seems really random

no one is going to get sued because there is a large collection of images/sound clips/movie clips/media etc that companies and people have access to and it's been like that for years. THats why you hear the same scream, for example, the scream used in Starcraft can be heard in many movies as well as dog barkings and so on.

I'm not so surprised.
