Honestly as shitty as it is to be Cett right now, the person being blamed for jacking his account has been blamed for this before and the last time his name was dragged through the mud on Kujata as a result of an ls members account being hacked that he had the info for it turned out like 2 months later that someone else had done it so I'm not ready to point fingers at the person everyones suspecting as of yet.

Well assuming Cett is telling the truth, that Mutilator is the only person that had his info, I see no reason to spare him.

And that incident before, if I'm not mistaken, he knew what his brother was doing and allowed it to happen so meh.

I was talking about Mutilator and Anige's account where she had given him the info and after 10-13 pages of this we find out that Panagiotis was at fault for stealing everything she had not Muti. So as shitty as it is to be Cett right now I honestly wouldnt expect Muti to do something like this.

K, im kind of in the dark when it comes to this kind of stuff. How did the keylogger get on your computer? did they send you a link or something and you clicked on it? How can you tell that a keylogger is even on your computer if you think you might have one on it?

We've had one guy on Ragnarok that apparently's been yoinking account info (yes, keylogged)...then proceeds to walk into Whitegate with the character and sell everything at fire-sale prices. Got one member of my LS, we had to sit there being told "email PlayOnline" while the guy was sold out of anything and everything.

"Keyloggers" are evil devices that l33t h4ckz0rz create, which specifically target completley innocent players who have never downloaded anything 3rd party to their computers whatsoever. These programs sniff out totally secure usernames and passwords which have never been shared to any other player, except that one guy you met who was totally cool that one time but you're like best friends so it couldn't have possibly been him stealing your gear.

Anyhow, once they have your passwords, RMT minions rip apart your character whist you cry to SE about how you totally never had any third party programs and it couldn't possibly be some greedy bastard from your LS.

Seeing as I had wiped my comp any trace of the virus/trojan is not likely to be on there, and they didn't consider chasing the identity of some uber leet script kiddy with only an IP address and a forum username a good use of time, they did however say if I managed to obtain any more evidence (ie: what might've put the virus/trojan on my computer) then they'd have a look at it.


So yeah, pissed off cause the response I initally got was a hopeful one.

I still find it hard to believe that he would hack you and run off Cett, if he moved himself and his brothers' accounts to Cerberus why wouldnt he have moved your account to Cerberus as well as so his brother could have a ridill/dring account? I wont deny that Muti has had some shady dealings in the past(gaiters anyone???) but seeing as hes been accused of stripping an account before and the accusations turned out to be horribly wrong and the real culprit got the info through a keylogger last time I just see him being made an easy scapegoat since he just migrated and has been accused of this in the past. In any case, if you want to track down whoever did, check Death Scythe+1 and your other gear on cerb/kujata AHs + Rolanberry Malls.. thats how tbc caught Pana when he jacked Anige. I'm sure you know/can figure out his mule names as well
