What is everyone's resolution is in the game?
What is everyone's resolution is in the game?
1440 x 900
800x600 (> . .)>
I play on a laptop that has 1200x800 res though, and I use windower, so I avoid taking up too much room with FF this way XD
1680x900
main system 1280x1024 & laptop 1680x1050, i need a widescreen monitor for my real system. i've never run ffxi windowed (of course i use windower for alt-tabs), should i? i just assumed it wouldn't seem right.
1024x768, windowed to a 1280x1024 desktop
1024x768, interface gets too small for my monitor on anything higher.
(gg SE for not making a dynamic interface that you can scale to your own likings)
And I use 1024x1024 background render, would use higher (such as 2048x2048) to make the graphics look cleaner, but then the game really chokes when a lot of alpha effects are involved thanks to the big-ass fillrate of the huge texture.
(hopefully the guys coding the DirectX9 engine actually know how to make a proper renderer, as buffering all the game's graphics to a texture is a waste of PC resources)
1440 x 858 (so I can see just a tiny bit of the desktop)
2880 x 1716
512x512? the middle one in ffxiconfigits like playing ps2 again (but it helps a little with lag, but i wish i could play with weather and shadows on
at a decent resolution)
1440 x 900 (started low when I first switched from PS2 and slowly transitioned myself to higher resolutions each week until settling on this one)
1680 x 1050 3D res
1600x900
1920x1200 both res's, via Pebbles POLUtils.
1280x1024 full screen

1920 x 1200 I just love screen space too much, kind of sad that my laptop which supports this resolution is slowly dying, keyboard just died this week.
1920 x 1200
Overlay:
2048 x 2048
I tried the 1660x1080 (or whatever it is) for regular screen resolution on my 1920x1200 desktop (widescreen monitor) but hated the way it felt like I was playing in a window.
I think if I could lower the game resolution I would (without stretching), as 1920x1200 with a 2048x2048 overlay really gets my computer churning. After 8 hours or so I need a reboot.
Thank god NVIDIA's latest and greatest Vista drivers eliminate the bard song/firaga3 glitches (just upgraded to Vista the other day) and keep framerate steady.
640x480
My PC isn't too good![]()
800 x 600, could play with a bigger res. but i need a new monitor >.>
