The Simpsons Movie

Anyone else go and see this? I just got back from the midnight showing.

In my opinion this makes up for the last 5 or 6 years of the show's run, it was a great movie, funny throughout. The Tom Hanks cameo in the middle of the movie was hysterical, and Spider-Pig got me even though I saw it coming.

Then again, I might just be a fanboy.

Great movie. I couldn't stop laughing. The part where bart was nude skateboarding with all the censorship except for that one part in the bushescaused me to spit up my soda.

The previews made it look terrible. Corny one liners, predictable "funny' setups. Hopefully they showed all the un-funny stuff in the previews and the movie was full of funny stuff, hopefully :<.

I thought it was consistently funny throughout, which impressed me. Too many films these days have like 5 funny moments scattered through the film with really dull moments which connect them. Was most pleased that wasn't the case here. The start was a little shaky in my opinion, but it just kept getting better. Liked it a lot.

Funniest moment? Besides Spiderpig? The part with the 'Sop' sign... couldn't stop laughing.

I'm debating to see it. The plot looks like your typical Cartoon story line.

"The world's fucking doomed, only the main characters can save it!"

it'll probably be like 2-4 episodes pieced together too

Was definitely worth it and I laughed nonstop too. Even got a little teary-eyed when (spoilers): Marge left Homer and taped over their wedding..

Great movie. Better than the last few seasons.
