That being said, where is a good copy available for download?

It seems to get posted and retracted on Alluc.org quite a bit these last few days. I imagine there's a decent torrent out there though.
Kinda wanted a streamed one. ^^;

Just finished watching this, and the scene where homer has his "epiphany", reminded me of episode 26 of neo genesis evangelion so much is was scary. Anyone else notice this?

Open your bittorrent and do manual hash check (bitcommet) or the equivalent if you use another client. It's possible the file wasnt downloaded properly, causing it to crash in one scene. Could probably skip those 10sec too if it's just crashing that one time

How do I do that with the default bittorrent client? Can't seem to find the option.

No clue, sorry. Most clients have a file check option, it should be around somewhere. Maybe starting the torrent again will activate it. Anyway, it could be an error on the file itself, doesn't mean it's the download. Using another media player might solve the problem as well. Most of them simply ignore those error instead of closing the application.

Just gonna download it again... this is the third time I've done it.. the first time all I got was 30 minutes and incomplete files.

I went for a download as well, I didn't really wanna pay for something that I've been getting for "free" for the last nearly 2 decades. That being said, I'm glad I did. It had it's moments, but I would have felt jipped paying $9 or $10 to see a long Simpsons episode, which is all it felt like.

I also think more stuff would have been funny if they didn't show so much of it in previews, as usual.

I disagree. Even though it's on TV for free as a show, it was worth paying the admission price to see it in theaters. I've been a lifelong Simpsons fan and although the last few seasons have been trite and not really worth watching every week, I couldn't just screw Matt Groening like that and deprive him of revenue he rightly deserves for a show that has been a part of my life for so long. I mean, I only downloaded the movie just so I could watch it over and over until the DVD comes out in which case I'll be buying it left and right.

You don't have to like the whole movie, but the least you can do is watch it once in the theaters or not watch it at all.

Use to watch simpsons when i was a kid but really haven't watched in years. So didn't wanna waste money on it. Downloaded it, and agree with other guy glad i didn't waste cash for theater. It was funny at parts, but majority of it just wasn't very exciting to me.
