I just tune her out. Besides that the acting was pretty good (for a comic book movie). Bale, Freeman, and Caine were great. Oh, and Gary Oldman rocks.Originally Posted by kuronosan

The rest of the cast was great. Just not Holmes. She felt out of place for the atmosphere they were trying to create.
I was pretty happy they replaced her with an actual actress, Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Iron Man was good but not that good. Movie dragged on at times. I expected the second coming from some of these posts on this thread. 3/4
p.s. - There was some fucking fan boy sitting right behind me who would wet himself or laugh at every scene. Jesus, stfu....
I thought it was pretty good; I especially enjoyed Robert Downey Jr's portrayal of Tony Stark.
...and Ultimate Nick Fury.
4.5/5
I liked it. I never got into comics, but I did see superhero cartoons when I was younger. My cousin who's older is really into Batman, so we just started going to see all the superhero movies together. Batman is still my favorite, but Iron Man was really good, though Trash Can Man was pretty cool too.
Leave Katie Holmes ALONEEEEEEEEE![]()
Bump
Saw this today, and it exceeded my expectations. Perfect Stark, Great Rhodes, Great Pepper. They added pretty good "realism" to the story(yea yeah made up elements and power devices), but the suit takes too much time to put on imo. Great script, and great music.
The Hulk trailer looked good too, can't wait to see Tim Roth as Abomination.
Also, can't wait for the Wolverine movie, except they ruined my favorite marvel character. Maverick isn't asian, you retards.
As for TDK; I will cum my pants multiple times when the music starts at the opening.
There was a Wolverine trailer?Originally Posted by Remyo

Did you just use "Wolverine" and "motherfucking awesome" in the same sentence? Who are you and what have you done with Septimus?
edit: watched it. lol what.
With a budget of just over $5 for Wolverine, they'll make their money back if just 1 person in the entire world pays for a ticket.
That trailer is exactly for the kind of movie that Wolverine deserves.Originally Posted by Obev
Critics would call it a revolutionary approach to film making, a breath of fresh air and an endlessly engaging cinematic masterpiece, which would only make Wolverine all the more popular.Originally Posted by Septimus
I'll probably go see it for deadpool, and boo an asian Maverick, unless he does a good job. But seriously how hard is it to find a German.Originally Posted by Xavier
Well, how hard it is to represent the Phoenix as a cosmic entity instead of a mental disorder? Damn that still pisses me off. >_<Originally Posted by Remyo
yea that did/does suck ass, but then again I always disliked the Pheonix saga a bit. It was alright to an extent, but I think it got played out a bit too much.Originally Posted by Septimus
I saw this movie yesterday and enjoyed it, but had trouble taking it seriously after I realized that the dude was the main villain. One of the best marvel movies I've seen though.
