all this discussion seems to assume war machine will be making a debut.
It seems more then likely that it'll happen, but who knows.

Favraeu stated before the first movie came out that War Machine would appear in the sequels.

There is but they have a lot of ground to cover with The Avengers before they even get close to Hulk vs. Iron Man.

All movies from Marvel studios for the next few years will all have little tie ins (Nick Fury at the end of Iron Man, Tony Stark at the end of Hulk, Thor will appear in Iron Man 2, etc etc) to lead into the Avengers movie.

It was a tie-in to an Avengers movie that has been thrown around by Marvel for a while now. I'm sure all of the new Marvel movies are gonna have some sort of cameo just so that Marvel can make all the super hero movies serve as a backdrop to Avengers.

Wtf? I dont care if one actor is beter than the other, I could care less if the guy replacing is a better 'actor', its the face im pissed about. You just cant replace someone and hope you view him the same way. The world now knows Rhodes as Howard, and this just adds a bunch of stupid and confusion to it.

Ant-man and captain America are both having live action movies that might tie them into the avengers. Ant-man isn't announced for the avengers yet but he was one of the first and why would they make a live action movie for him if no plans to put him in.

So far the avenger line up looks like Iron man, Captain America, Hulk(maybe), Ant-man(maybe) ,Thor and possibly War machine. I can't wait for 2010 or 2011 when they release the films.

as some others have pointed out, Cheadle is badass in his own way but Howard and RDJ had a great chemistry onscreen

Im thinking the ant-man movie might be based on Eric O'grady, im almost positive i read that somewhere. either way i think he would be much more entertaining than a Hank Pym movie. ALTHOUGH it could be Pym and then the Avengers movie could be about Ultron pwnage.
