I'm just glad that Marvel has their own production company now instead of relying on Sony. I'm still pissed off at Spider-Man 3. Anyway, Iron Man was an awesome movie. And I don't care if they're going for the Ultimate Universe, and all that. At least Ultimates didn't give us travesties like Spider-Man: One More Day, and the endings to House of M, Civil War, and World War Hulk.

This movie is absolutely fantastic. The acting is PERFECT, yes... PERFECT. Downey Jr is the man and puts all other superhero actors to shame. The camerawork is PERFECT, yes... PERFECT. Jon Favreau, wow... I didn't even think he was any good before this movie... but he fucking delivered. 4 stars, 10/10, 100% go see this film.

Went and saw this movie last night and it is easily the greatest superhero movie ever made. Everything I wanted, great humor, action, everything. One of the first movies I am actually thinking about seeing again in theaters.

So is this movie really as good as people are saying? o.o; As in.. did you go in expecting something and get what you expected? or did it surpass your expectations?

It's not often I reply to a post of my own, but god damn it did live up to the hype. The acting was perfect, the CG/Action wasn't way over the top, and it was all around a great, great movie. It so deserved the 95% Rotten Tomatoes gave it. I went in with my expectations, and came out feeling it surpassed all of them. D:

I'm glad they continued telling the story after he escaped. They could have easily turned the entire movie into a two part sequel to drain more cash. Midway, I thought they were going to do just that but just like everyone else said, it far exceeded my expectations.

A+ Movie, go see it!

This seemed to have a different feel then most superhero movies. In a lot of the decent superhero flicks, I often find myself getting really into them, getting "chills" from the badass action scenes, etc. I don't experience that sensation too much until Stark sought revenge and used his palm blaster dealios.

But yeah, excellent film. I'd give it a 9/10. Simply superior; excellent action and CG, and humor I undoubtedly appreciated.

Just as an fyi for anyone who doesen't know already. Next month (June) when the Hulk comes out, Tony Stark is to make a cameo appearence after the credits to promote the next movie. (Similar to what happened at the end of Iron Man/foreshadowing)

Gawd I didn't know about the bonus scene at the end.

I was absolutely floored at how amazing the special effects were. Everything looked 100% real (well as real as a man in metal armor flying around can look anyways).

YES. This is possibly the best Marvel movie that's been made. It's even given me hope for the Hulk now.
