I wish I had because it sounds like there is so much more to the film that I'm missing, like the significance of Sam Jackson appearing at the end and mentioning 'The Avengers'. The terrorist guys from this were called the "Ten Rings", which I reckon might be setting up the Mandarin. Favreau's right though, that fucker's both dated as hell and pretty racist in the worst Fu Manchu tradition.

This was actually the best marvel superhero movie I've seen, if not the best superhero movie period.

There were a few gripes (like the really crappy villain Jeff Bridges turned into) but to be honest this movie really had the best casting choice out of all superhero movies done in the last decade. The cast was downright perfect.

It seems like both Ironman and Hulk are going for the "defeat enemy that is a bigger, stronger version of myself" story-line. Hopefully the next two Ironman movies will move past that as it's a pretty weak premise for a villain.
