Great movie, top notch acting. I liked the chemistry between RD jr. and Gwyneth.

I feel like I'm the only one who didn't/doesn't read comics. I wish I had because it sounds like there is so much more to the film that I'm missing, like the significance of Sam Jackson appearing at the end and mentioning 'The Avengers'. Oh well, still a great movie and I really liked how it all played out, very well done. Also, obligatory 'omfg Gwyneth Paltrow was so hot in this movie' because she was..
Also, here's the after credits ending, for anyone who wants to see it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=QGgLZFdINpg
The Avengers were a team of superheros. Among them Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, and Captain America.
lmao @ Samuel Jackson.
The terrorist guys from this were called the "Ten Rings", which I reckon might be setting up the Mandarin. Favreau's right though, that fucker's both dated as hell and pretty racist in the worst Fu Manchu tradition.Originally Posted by 6souls
This was actually the best marvel superhero movie I've seen, if not the best superhero movie period.
There were a few gripes (like the really crappy villain Jeff Bridges turned into) but to be honest this movie really had the best casting choice out of all superhero movies done in the last decade. The cast was downright perfect.
It seems like both Ironman and Hulk are going for the "defeat enemy that is a bigger, stronger version of myself" story-line. Hopefully the next two Ironman movies will move past that as it's a pretty weak premise for a villain.Originally Posted by kuronosan
Fucking awsome move.
Very good movie, better than any of the other marvel movies I've seen. I don't read comics so I don't really know how the actual storyline is, but it was well done. The dialogs was great too, which is something new for movies these days.

Loved the movie... Missed a couple parts of it (Fker in front of me couldnt get his fat ass comfortable. I would watch again.
So the next Iron Man is coming out 2010, also with Iron Man coming out in 2010 his friend in the movie if I remember correctly will be Thor, haha.
And then in 2011 they will have a Captain American movie, which I heard a while back that lolBrad Pitt will be the Captain god save us all, and then after Captain America comes out they will finally have an Avengers movie.
