Oh wows, I could remember when a few years ago , the opposite of this sentence was the case (Melee crying to get into BLM's PTs), oh how times have changed.

It was less than a month between the time we first posted a video of chain 300 on elemental pets on KI and the time that summoner aerns got nerfed so they could only spawn 4. That camp gave us a wopping 11k an hour.

If I was only BLM I would be so fucking pissed about ToAU -_-

At that point, 11k an hour was really fucking hot, especially for BLMs. It was on par with melee parties, if not better. Now it takes a great manaburn to come remotely close to a mediocre melee burn, and as you say, there is only one good camp -_-

If I am correct, it was more of a jab towards a certain poster who would post in each update thread asking for BLM changes

Having a BLM in party would also mean an line of 3 mages, 3 Melee, or Longer fights and hi2u downtime.

I have no faith in SE being able to do this properly for all jobs. I look forward to my reduce gauge timer glory crown for BST.

I don't think they would make it so god-like, then everyone would wear it and it would be the new O.Hat/Turban. No matter where you go, everyone has one. It would look kinda dumb. Plus it wouldn't make any sense to make an amazing item attainable from piss-easy quests and BCNMs that can be beaten by 3 people, and make it viewable.

Zilart gave us earrings, CoP gave us rings. Maybe if we do get anything from this, it would (and should) be a piece of armour that can't be viewed unless checked. Like a belt or a cape. Not so much a piece of JSE, but a piece of role equipment like the three CoP rings, 3 or 4 seperate stat items that are for melee, tanks, mages, or BST/PUP/DRGs.

Who knows. I think it's too soon to start speculations.
