little bitter that i got houshmazilla while andre johnson, roy williams, and javon walker were still out there, but you are correct i got quite lucky with my RBs. maroney and brees both went in the first which i believe allowed these two backs to fall to me @ picks 12 and 13.

Just because I took Maroney early, .. or first, it means I'm "new" and have no clue what the fuck I'm doing? I'm actually pretty sure I know what I'm doing, heh. Maroney's gonna get more touches than Faulk, he's gonna most likely get it close to the endzone and their offense this year is a powerhouse. Maybe he won't obviously get LJ/LT points, but I have other backs/decent WR's to keep me close along with a QB that has Gates/LT to throw it to. I've done espn leagues the last two years and won both, granted I had LT in both leagues. D:

Anyway, we'll see how things go. I never take a QB until around the 4th-5th round though and WR's usually later because really.. the difference between a #20 and a #50 is hardly noticeable at times.

Wow...there are some sick teams out there.

I'm all for getting new people into the league, provided that they do a lick of research and know what they're doing. I can't stand it when someone uses "I'm new" as an excuse for taking a WR in the first round, or something of that sort.

Brees in round1 is a little much, but do understand our leagues are all touchdowns = 6 points, so QBs are a lot more valuable than in most standard leagues. If we consider 2004 in hindsight, Peyton and Daunte Culpepper would have gone before the 3rd pick was made, so who knows, maybe it'll turn out well for whoever drafted him--although, he is probably sucking at RB. Rule #1 of FFL --> your studs need a supporting cast, or else you won't get far. Tomlinson is the exception that proves the rule.
