    I guess this is the only "downer" for me, because it kinda takes away from the epic-ness that Besieged could be sometimes.
    It's much better for those sieges during hours of the day when fewer people are online. 400 people can just endure the attack for an hour and still win instead of struggling hopelessly for 2 hours only to lose.

    I would actually like that over this hour thing (but I'd take both, duh). I would also take "looping" beastman levels (as in once they attack @200, they go back to 100, despite whether they win or lose) over the hour thing. Therefore, some are pathetic (100) and others are epic (200).

    Everyone knows what the next update needs is more Ode to the Serpents storylines. (not being sarcastic. the series of quests are probably my favorite thing related to the expansion)

    But easier ein(tab) is exciting for the moment. Really looking forward to at least hearing what lolAnimator+1 does.

    No. I don't think they will at all.
    I've always saw Salvage as endgame ToAU, considering there's different areas, and sets of armor for each job (like Sky's Osode set).

    When the minature "Alexander" was shown in the last few CS, there was 5 Remenat areas. There's currently only 4 in Salvage and a whole bunch of low level gear is "missing" or not found yet for upgrading. Maybe there will be a 5th Remenants area put in, that will be bigger than the others Or it'll be a big final boss that drops these "missing" pieces?

    I speculated this while afk one time, if you look at the patterns on and above the doors in the undersea ruins, there all show 6 orbs, with one glowing orb, lit up depending on which area you're about to enter.

    Who knows, you might have to fight Alexander yourself ;o

    Am I walking into a trap or have you forgotten about Nyzul Isle, also a part of Alzadaal, that accounts for the 5th glowing orb in the crest?

    How would that work? Isn't it all instanced so more than one alliance can enter the same one at the same time? (My LS goes GMT time, so I wouldn't know) ;o

    Thanks for taking those lol, hate being at work when trying to prove something.

    I still think it'll be a final Salvage area like they did with Limbus and Omega/Ultima. I mean, there's like 9 or 12 pieces of Salvage gear left that are missing, if they all dropped that that hidden area then that would solve everything.

    Taken from FFXIclopedia:

    "In the final cutscene of the latest mission update, Alexander is specifically stated (and called by name) to have once manifested the Alzadaal Ruins (Nyzul Isle Remnants = command unit, Arrapago Remnants = right propulsion unit, Bhaflau Remnants = left suspension unit, Zhayolm Remnants = left propulsion unit, Silver Sea Remnants = right suspension unit). There is also a lost control center (or "brain") and the astral candescences function as hearts for each of the five units. The Gordeus is also revealed to possibly contain blueprints for the ruins. It is also stated that the Empire has built a new iron colossus and 4 new candescences for Alexander to manifest. Limbus cutscenes heavily indicate that this new structure was made from parts of biotechnological weapons."

    So it's this "Brain Station" that we're missing.

    The 35 zhayolm pieces? I'm pretty all pieces are accounted for .dat wise. Anyway if there is a new area, i'd be happier with it dropping khroma Ores

    In the cutscenes they also mention that the "brain" might be part of the part of the ruins they have explored so far (it was something like 30% or 70%). I'm guessing it's going to be an un-used map of Nyzul used for the final and AN-esque battles.

    EDIT: They also offer the possibility of it being completely obliterated, I think.
