today i got matched up against the #2 player, MikeRD or something
he played diddy and he used some pretty smart stuff that I wouldn't really have thought of, it was cool

They can. I played an LS mate on my PAL CD and they had NTSC.

Edit: nvm, i had my NTSC version then. Id assume the lag would be tremendous though.

I had a busted router that, oddly enough, could get online, but wouldnt connect to a peer. It wouldnt stay connected to FFXI either. Mayb have been a software issue, i don't know, but I went and bought a new router anyway. Everything is working and ass beatings can now commence!
