Honestly, it was a good mix I feel. You did point out a lot of things that most people do not think about, how they fight for our daily freedoms.

Although I'm feeling quite bored today so I feel like fanning a little bit of fire. I have a hard time feeling completely sympathetic to anyone in the army that tells me it's hard over where [insert location] is. Seriously? I know it's probably ridiculously tough in a conflict zone, but you're self-inflicting this kind of thing by joining the military. I don't think anyone signed up thinking you'd never have to fight. If they did they're a moron.

And before it's mentioned, I do understand some do it to pay for their future education, which is ok as well. However everyone who joins the armed forces signs up knowing they'll be risking their life at some point most likely. Which is why I find it hard to feel sympathetic.

Oh, and I do have many friends throughout different branches of the armed forces, and would support them till the day I die. I've gone through my whole life with some of them. But they too, knew the risks when they signed on the line. Saying I don't feel sympathetic doesn't mean I don't support their efforts, because I do.
