So my FFXI account is on my friend's credit card, therefore all my account information is his.

We got in a fight.

He changed my password and he says he deleted my character.

So what I need from you is to know if there is any password retrieval system for FFXI. Seeing as how we've been best friends for 5 years, I'm relatively sure I could come up with any answers for security questions and whatnot.

And if you could be bothered to take the time, could somebody try to create a character named Krye on Asura to see if he really deleted it.

If my character is gone, I'm not going to bother with FFXI...so yeah.

I didn't even do anything to piss him off.

He was going to spend the night at his girlfriend's house and instead of going with him, I asked him to drop my off at my step-brother, real father, and grandparent's house because I hardly ever see them and they live like five minutes away from his girlfriend. I said he could pick me back up in the morning.

He got all pissy and said that I should want to go with him because it was HIM that was going to be there. I told him I would go with him if he was going to be bothered, blah blah, you're my best friend, blah blah, I care about you, blah blah, I don't want to upset you. So he thinks it over and says it's fine if I spend the night with my family.

The next day he tells me he isn't going to pick me up and that we aren't friends anymore and he proceeds to fuck off my FFXI account.

I know it's his girlfriend poisoning his mind, his girls always get jealous over me, "HOW COME YOU GET HAPPY WHEN HE COMES OVER?! HOW COME YOU'RE MISERABLE WITH ME AND YOU LIGHT UP WITH JOY WHEN HE COME OVER?!"

But ANYWAYS, none of this is relevant.

I need to know if there's any way to get my account back, and I need somebody to see if my character is gone.

Technically, but I'm going to choose to ignore that fact. I bought the Vana'Diel Collection later down the road for the expansions and bound them to that account, then gave him the base FFXI account so he could try out the game. He didn't like it, and lost the account info. So I'm going to consider it a trade. If I can get the account back, I'll change the credit card. I've paid him for the monthly charges, it's only on his card because I don't have one.

You don't have a credit card so you're using his and paying him the money? The hell? Go to your bank and get a damned debit card and use that then. You could also try getting an actual credit card of your own. If anything it's better for you to have that line of credit than to not have it. That's a very silly situation.

You're going to need to know, at the least, the pol id, current address listed, the credit card info, etc. Time to stop being emo and go kiss and make up with your buddy. Sounds like he might like that...

I called to get my password reset the other day (turns out I had Caps Lock on, yaaaaaay) and they wanted the information you see after you go to Service and Support -> Membership and didn't ask about the billing information at all. If your info is on there they should be able to reset it for you regardless of who's paying the bill.
