I called to get my password reset the other day (turns out I had Caps Lock on, yaaaaaay) and they wanted the information you see after you go to Service and Support -> Membership and didn't ask about the billing information at all. If your info is on there they should be able to reset it for you regardless of who's paying the bill.

I'm downloading the internet files for FFXI right now, so I can't check what that information is right now. Care to be more specific?

That's interesting if they've changed a policy or something. I know a few people that tried the sell account to ige -> try to reset password and get account back several months later when they randomly felt like playing again thing. They all got told to gtfo when they didn't know the current billing info. Granted they used the pol chat w/e thing instead of calling.

That should be all you need to get it reset, I'm surprised no one's listed this out accurately before. You don't need all 16 numbers or the expiry date of the card. These numbers are actually viewable by doing that Service and Support -> Membership thing, with asterisks covering the 8 middle numbers.
