As I mentioned before why not suggest a "Job Locker" Option in Mog House that gives 30 spots to whatever main job you are using at the time.
And everytime you change your main job you get 30 slots for that job.
16 Jobs X 30 Spaces + 480 spaces
ie, I switch my main job to WAR. I select Job Locker. I pull out any war gear I have stored in there. Axes, AF2, food, ra/ex shit for war.
When I'm done playing war I unequip the gear I use for War and store it.
I change job to RDM and go back to job locker and pull out my enfeebling gear, mage food, staves, af2 etc.
Make them accessible if you have the job unlocked or as part of a job quest. Make it part of AF1 quest or something.
This would preserve the memory limitations as you would not be affecting the Mog House, Storage, Mog Locker or inventory.
primary problem isn't moghouse storage anymore, given that you have ~228 storage spots, and if, you need more; you have mules for that, since each mule can now potentially be ~258 spaces of storage (68/80/80/30) with 0 fame and a trip to whitegate.Originally Posted by Rafbacca
primary problem is field inventory space, where 60 is just -not enough- for most mages anymore. (and increasing numbers of melee).
Maybe the next update will add a quest in Halvung, where a Moblin invents a teleporter you can give to your moogle, and you can access your Mog Safe from wherever (maybe not in a battle/battlefield/assault/Dynamis/Limbus/Salvage/Einherjar/Promyvion/Al'Taieu) and you can upgrade it to include your locker. All for a small fee each time, of course.
Probably not happening ever, though.
I've already submitted my suggestions via pm but...
Think someone could make a graphic illustrating the issues with inventory? Perhaps using some of the more gear intensive jobs as an example?
Like... show a picture of a red mage... then next to it put every single piece of gear/food/medicine/etc that a rdm would use while out and about or just in general. heck include the macro gear swap examples in there to show how all the gear is used too. Heck I carry around 30 pieces of armor for my rdm... and that doesn't include my solo set... and I'm sure there is more gear available to me that I do not have.
Then pick a gear intensive melee and do the same for them.
Really the issue is both mog space and inventory... Having more than three jobs 75 and with as much gear to be lugging around as each job needs its hard when you have to store them in your mog space, as well as being difficult in the field.
I like the idea of "Bags" for inventory... that would not be accessible with any Mog House menus open... and I also like the idea of "job lockers" though I would be greedy and have them activate with either the first or the last AF quest and have as many slots as your current level... leaving you with 75 storage spaces per job by the time you're done.
I really wish I had some knowledge of photoshop... unfortunately you'd get what looks like a giant pixel... maybe...
I need all pictures till Friday. After that I cant print them in High Quality anymore.
I do not use Windower macros, so I will take pictures of how I have to play
NIN effective or other jobs where I have to press sometimes 2-3 Macros for one thing.
Maybe a graphic for the 30 minutes windows of doing nothing like :
Deathtime 0:00
You head there ar 11:30 to prepare and do nothing till 11:59, then you focus for 2 minutes and from 0:01-0:29 you go afk, then focus for 2 minutes to prepare and be ready to claim from 0:29 till 0:31 and then again go afk from 0:31-0:59 ectect. Like a time graph.
Or a graphic about everything known for Salvage except that few rare pieces like the 35 one from MZ with a ??? in the graphic.
Or a graphic with 4 pictures
[1][2]
[3][4]
like this with people wiping to AV cause of Meteor, -ga Spells whatever.
To show them not the Regen is the problem.
Or to show people macros needed for special spells.
Make a picture with 12 lines or so for example for an Enfeebling.
And then another macro for Convert or whatever, showing you have to change 10-12 Items for this, idk you know what I mean.
GO AND MAKE PICTURES DAMNIT .
You guys are better in this then I am.
Or some Data on Weaponskills from Relic Weapons. That show that none-relic WS are stronger then Relic ones.
Pie chart? make 7 blue sections (6 waits between the 7 windows and half an hour of gathering time) each 28-30 min long, then 7, 2 minute red sections showing the time we're actually paying attention. i'd do it myself, but i can't post from here.Originally Posted by bercus

I only actually did kings a couple times like... 2 years ago, so apologies in advance if I fucked something up.Tried to do what Bercus/Spekkio suggested. It's super ghetto Photoshop, woulda probably been way easier if I actually had MSword or something. Ah well! Suggestions etc. welcome.

If its decent/ok lemme know, and I'll add a link to a print res version.
(edit: what're we trying to say with this btw, though? If they change it so the NMs could pop at any time during the 3 hour pop period, for example, that doesn't seem like an improvement...)
it wouldn't be an improvement, no. so we should try to stress that we would like it improved.Originally Posted by Shade
personally: either a compression of the window (21-22 hour pop, pop chance every 10 minutes for instance) or perhaps removing the windows completely (0-48 hour window median and mode around 21-24 hours, pop any given second after window opens...) which would turn most of these into 'mobilize as fast as possible when your mule sees it pop' which is an entirely different form of suck but at least it gets rid of sitting in the same three zones for up to 9 hours in one day.
of course, it's entirely possible that neither of these would be seen as an improvement either. (ridills now drop from darters ?!)
lol the pic is awesome : DOriginally Posted by Shade
Better yet, have it pop at 21 hours on the dot. OK, what do I win for fixing king camps?Originally Posted by Amele
Mention that some of the NMs in Salvage (particularly the Poroggo NMs) are unreasonably difficult to pop, and ask if there is any chance of having the conditions adjusted, or perhaps them revealing a hint as to the conditions.
Exactly what I was thinking stop wasting our time. We know it's going to pop and be killed, there is no point in waiting up to three hours for the NM to appear. Less Windows more timed pops like Shikigami Weapon.Originally Posted by Septimus
sure! except I think SE might find a compressed window more palatable than a purely timed pop (although they did go to item popping ullikimmi so anything is possible)Originally Posted by Septimus
and you can win a ginger cookie, although I can't deliver it cross server so you'll have to buy it yourself.
Hmmm.

Aware you say you don't want to mention when the interview is taking place, but would it be a fair assumption that the interview is going to be during the Leipzig Games Convention?
nono, SE wants these monsters to be FEARED, remember? They don't want things more convenient for their players, we're playing THEIR game, remember? So, lets make the camps a bit more interesting:Originally Posted by Septimus
The mob spawns at 21hr mark, Invincible like Dark Rider. Every 30 minutes, there is a chance that it's invincible may wear off and it may be killable.
To make the players fear them like the developers intended, They will spend this time roaming the entire of the zone they spawn in, hunting players.
I hope SE doesn't actually read this.
