    POL will not startup.

    Hi. Ive just come back to playing XI after about a 2year break, and have in that time purchased a new computer. I'm trying to install everything and get going but after finishing with POL, I go to open it and nothing happens. All I get is a small window telling me windows is searching for a solution to the problem, and it then prompts me to close the program. I run on Vista, not sure if that matters (although Ive already tried running in compatibility mode.) any help would be great.

    Download the vista version of POL from the POL website.

    im almost ashamed that I needed u to tell me that but thanks, working fine now. Only 17,000 patch files stand between me and FFXI goodness. thanks again :D
