Since tipo changed the billing information, they said *i cannot give current billing information* so that i cannot get my account back. lol quite retarted if you ask me, i gave them all PoL codes, FFXI codes, everything the *real owner* would have, and it doesn:t even matter, to bad they couldn:t go on line and ask my character for the correct information or something.

Once again, SE has easily got to be the worst company for fixing any problem, as we all know how useless the GM:s are also, but i guess this isnt a surprize to me that people we pay to help us are worthless.. oh well cya guys later.

Back around 2 years ago, when rl friends of mine still played, a friend of my roommates played and he begged me for my CC # so that he could continue playing after his trailer park whore of a mother canceled his debit card, and like a dumb ass I gave it to him. 3 months later when he was still playing on my CC and refusing to pay me (one of the many times he decided to stay at my house instead of his mother's trailer) I stole his account password (he was a 60ish THF) and sold his shit to somewhat recoup my money. After changing his password and changing it to another CC he was not able to retrieve his account.

When I forgot my password, they asked me for the first CC# that was on the account. I had to change cards because my wallet was stolen, and had to dig deep into my memory to remember the last 4 digits of a credit card that had since been 3-4 months gone. Hell, I was hoping for the current one, and they went one before that. I told the guy I needed a minute to remember it, and he even told me good job when I remembered... :D

It is if you're account has a relic horn and is worth mucho dinero to RMT.

I like my friends in-game and all, but I don't give out my account info and I'm just a somewhat blinged/merit'd BLM- no less a gjallrBRD. People will screw you over for cash, and while it's nice to give your info out to the LS that helped get you the horn, you're talking about a serious wad of RL cash you're trusting people you can't track down IRL.

There is absolutely no point in giving your account info to another person over the internet. Only two people know my account info, and thats usually to PL themselves with my RDM >_>' so I guess thats a valid reason. Personally, I don't trust anyone who's in a HNMLS, no matter how long I've known them. They're just too shady.

My college roommate of 3+ years never knew my login info. Though we would have trusted each other with such info we both agreed that it would be best to not share it.

SE is just another company, complain to the right people enough times and something will happen. Lets face it, publicity can go negative quickly if people want it to.

This is my golden rule, and is only applicable if I knew the person before I started playing FFXI. Though, I have let people play as my characterfor short periods of time (a la bathroom break during dynamis), but never given out my account info. If my account somehow gets compromised, I want it to be my fault, not someone else's (Keyloggers, being careless, etc.)
