Should stack, but I'd wear:
Unicorn > Amir > e.feet > AF1

Quite franckly, I would put unicorn ahead dusk+1, simply because the speed decrease blows. I know you can macro swap to another pair when you need to run, but there is many situations where you have to react quickly with movement (outrun a WS and the like). With dusk hands + dusk feets equiped, it's easy to screw up or get hit an additional time. Parser result are important, but so is living.
Unicorn sucks because if you're ever in yellow (which can happen often in xp/hnm) you lose the haste completely, making them worthless boots.
Also I can't think of a single time you'd have to run to save your life outside of maybe tonberries? I can't figure out if you're talking about HNM or xp or what. But where it really matters you'd have stun anyway.

Yes, it happen very often... for 2sec before the whm toss you a cure. I would be surprised if you didnt have over the ~65% hp (with gears) more than 95% of the time in any situation. 3% 95% of the time or 2% with movement down, I will go with the 3%.
If you play war a lot, you should know there is many situations where you will have to avoid a few hits using movement. Those situation won't happen in xp party/HNM zerg, but they happen a lot when you duo something, in assault or any random event. Bad pathing and movement are the biggest weakness for monster in this game, and having dusk hand+feet equiped make it much harder to use. Like I said, it's easy to macro those 2 pieces out when you are doing a long kiting, but thing happen fast at time, and you wont be able to swap the piece asap.
And there is more than sickle slash than can be outranged. Almost every mobs have that kind of ws, and counting the tp given allow you to avoid certain attack.

With all this being said, WTF is war and pup the only jobs without movement+ equips besides town aketons >.<
Not counting silly things like desert boots and storm crackows there are 4 Jobs without movement speed+ gear. 3 without anything to increase rate of steps. War, Sam, Pup.

Movement + is about the only thing WAR doesn't get.
Please let other jobs that don't get great ratings in way too weapons and jobs that can't equip almost all the best armor in the game hold onto a slice of victory.

Because we all know how important my capped staff and club are. What you say was true back in Zilart, but war didnt get many good item since then (turban, maneater, barone body, unicorn boot), and none of those item beside turban change much over the older alternative (jugger, dusk). Are's Head/Hands/Feet are awesome for high ass eva mobs, Cuirass blows anything away for Steel Cyclone.
War got some gewd stuffs, just nothing as zomg obvious as Adaberk/Ridill/Maneater/etc.
Also: That is the first time I've ever heard anything about Brutal not stacking with any other Double Attack, from Trait, Gear, or whatnot.
As far as I know, WAR's benefit from Brutal, too, so it stacks the same way as for any other job. Why else would WARs wear brutal with their suppa?Originally Posted by Osede

0% -> 5% DA is a 5% improvement to # of swings
10 -> 15% DA is a 4.5% improvement to # of swings
Ah, that makes a little more sense, I guess.
Amir boot are not "good", they are the 3rd/4th alternative for that slot. 20k assault point could be sold for a b.hide, so there isn't really any reason to not have the better alternative on war.
I kinda forgot about askar head, but it's nothing exceptional compared to turban (slightly more dot at the cost of utsu recast). Other jobs already have Aces helmet they can aim for, so it's nothing spectacular. Ares body as steel cyclone macro is kinda stupid...not sure it worth the 8m for an epeen screenshot twice per year >_>
Anyway, I was just answering to the line "warrior got every best armor", which isn't true in the past few years. Most exceptional armor went to other job, or offer no improvement for warrior over an older alternative. I'm not sure there is any gears that make other job jealous, however, there is many good gear that warrior can't equip (usukane set being the best melee example imo)
