    Pink Floyd The Wall

This is older than the internet itself... But I just saw it because my mother insisted I saw how freaky it was... I actually liked it a lot! I wanted to start a discussion about this old movie and what you thought of it back in the day... Also does anyone have a rip of the DVD?

All in all it was just another brick in the wall!

Edit: I have the CD ripped to my computer at 192 kbps (VBR) if anyone would like it.

BTW I wasn't high but the guy at the best buy was like "Want some rolling papers with that?" my mom laughed so hard and that was the joke of the night!

They do have a lot of good songs, but I'm just not a fan of them.

    Re: Pink Floyd The Wall

I'm a huge floyd fan, i've got just about everything they ever recorded on my PC, lots of rare stuff from the 70's, the full concert Live in Pompeii where they set up a stage and played for themselves.

I never did see the movie though....

comfortably numb is one of my favorite songs, those solo's are 2 of my favorites. simple but perfect.

I love pink floyd's music, but I could not get into the movie. After about 30 min I shut it off due to boredom.

Good call :D ; even Animals is overlooked for some reason, which is strange, because I feel that it's the best disk from the era when PF was really fucking huge.

I saw Roger waters(bassist) play in his world tour on the last stop from 7 months on the road and honest to god the second they played Wish you were here the entire stadium lighted up, I have a picture of it on my cell, its just a huge black baseball stadium with tons of little lights in the distance.

but basically they played Dark side of the moon cover to cover, a few songs form Animals and the wall almost cover to cover. it was such an amazing conert. and aparently David Gilmour is going on tour sometime in the near future, which is definitly something to see.
