A friend of mine had a spare free ticket to see 'em in London. My cell phone was turned off, so they gave the ticket to someone else.

Only have to wait another 10 years for them to play another gig, right? ...Right?

give me Animals and Meddle anytime, LOVE those records. and the Syd Barret stuff is incredible if you're in the mood. but I dont care for The Wall too much, musically its awesome, ive seen the movie dozens of times, but I rarely have moments where I'm like "OH MY GOD I NEED TO LISTEN TO THE WALL!" except maybe for goodbye blue skies and on the ice

i love the movie, even people that don't indulge in altering the mind should check it out if you are the slightest bit a fan of some of the music. i always thought it was a bit fucked that when the tigers broke free was some of the best music in the film and not available anywhere else (at the time).

Skyylya, you definitely need to see it!

Oxyminus, awesome - the final cut & animals are probably my two favorite albums. echoes on meddle though, possibly their best song (in my opinion). good call.
