I actually think it is quite ridiculous if 1800 flowers is sending notes to people thanking them for flowers etc.. with copies of whatever the original note was.

if that's not the case and i'm misunderstanding then whatever. But I think it's quite irrisponsible for them to think that every person who sends flowers does so with the best intentions and for them to make any kind of contact to the sender or have anything sent to the recipient other than flowers + the senders note is quite wrong and negligent.

The guy was going through a divorce which was apparently in a soft stage of reconciliation, there's nothing wrong with him sending flowers to some other girl that he might've known before that reconciliation period. I think the worst thing out of all of this is the stupid wife trying to get 400k and 6k/month outta the guy over fucking flowers.

Off topic, but interesting: My father shot himself in a foot, so he didn't have to pay child support. And he got a check monthly for mental disability on top of that. It's a lesson I'm sure I'll use in the future.

Well, the people involved in this suit are probably rich. I can understand if you're making a fucking pile of money, having to give more than the bare minimum to your kids. You would hope that would happen anyway, but you never know. I'm sure there are people on this earth who live in a trailer while their estranged dad is a neurosurgeon, or something else that brings in a veritable shit-ton of money. I've never been divorced and my parents are still married, so I don't know, but I assume that $6k/mo is some sort of set percentage of the father's income. While those sort of percentages tend to be unfair initially, it's probably so that when the case is settles and the actual award is determined, that it's a number closer to what you might expect to get rather than lower.
