You can post all the logic you want, and then I will post a picture of a 400 pound man eating a deep fried oreo, and we can all call it a day on everything making sense always.

that being said I don't believe this either, don't think anybody believes this particular video is real

This is because a sentient being born outside of the earth is just ridiculous. We know God only made man and woman and killed the dinosaurs 5 thousand years ago. End of story.

HAHAHAHA You've just made my day. I remember watching tv where 10 year olds at some backwoods rural Jesus camp called anyone that believed differently idiotic and a lost cause for humanity.

    Thank you kindly.

    Fake shit is fake.

Seriously, this shit is way too obvious. Besides, aliens wouldn't just fly right the fuck over some well-populated area unless they planned on sticking around for a while.

Equally silly as the notion of aliens visiting Earth is the notion that human logic/reason/behaviour would apply to their actions and reactions.

If they managed to reach a level of evolution that allow them to do what the universe doesn't normally allow (traveling over light speed with a mass), they have to be an efficient and logical race of being. So yes, we can expect from them efficiency, and not random actions.

The definition of efficiency varies wildly even among different human cultures, what makes you think they would have the same ideas? To an entirely different species of intelligent life, seemingly strange or ridiculous actions might be perfectly logical, or what we observe might be flukes or mistakes. You're making some pretty big (and rather arrogant) assumptions about superior human intellect and understanding of the universe.

I don't think if a UFO did fly overhead, you'd be able to physically see it. Actually physically moving your spacecraft from Point A to Point B is sooo 1920's Sci Fi. Nowadays we just use quantum theory to teleport like little frog-hopping space bitches from place to place.

But it varies very little amongst scientist. Technological evolution can't be done without logics, without physics, without a perfect understanding of the world we are in. You won't find wormhole looking for God or the mystery of life. Those aliens might have different personal belief than us, but the mathematics they use would be the same. "1+1=2" and "true+false=false" for everone, there won't be any exceptions. Based on that, I'm certain you can logically explain their behavior the same way you can explain a human behavior.

Mankind's science hasn't reached its peak, but we still know what we can possibly accomplish within the limit imposed by the universe. The "infinite energy" needed to make those aliens technology work isn't something that is likely to happen, otherwise, we would have observed it in space. Of course, I might be arrogant to believe there is no such thing like anti gravity matter (key element to create a wormhole and "hack" our universe's law), but there is no hint it exist and can be created. Considering the nature is miles ahead us when it come to creating new matter, I do think we would have observed it if it did exist.

The universe offer us a finite amount of tool to works with, and there is some law/limit imposed by it. Not everything can be done, even if we are still far from the best we can do.

Something that doesn't exist. I mentioned it because in the last argument I had with people on this forum, they were bringing back "worm hole" over and over as a method to go faster than light. That method, is not possible, because we don't have the ingredient (antigravity in this case) that break physics to make them.

An aliens race can't be flying above our head like this, because they are stuck in the same universe, with the same laws.

Well, that entirely depends on what school of science and science fiction you'd subscribe to. Some people believe the rules of the universe are insurmountable, and others believe that the rules can be bent, broken or rewritten. Depends on how liberal or conservative your viewpoint on the subject is.

People used to think human would never fly, but at the same time, birds were flying and there was rock in orbit around the sun. We did find a way around technical difficulty and figured a method to make plane and satellite fly. However, at no point a physics rules was bent or broken and everything was already within the real of the possible.

Faster than light travel (or lightspeed travel) is a completely different matter. There is no hints that mass ever went faster than lightspeed, and our current physics tell us it would require an infinity of energy to accomplish that task. Better physics would just add addtional constraint, instead of removing them...so it wont do us any good.

    Re: UFO haiti video

We don't really understand everything about flight, or even our own bodies at this point, so working within the constraints of what we do know is like cooking a new meal without even knowing the ingredients or without a cookbook. We're just not nowhere ready for this kind of advancements because we don't have the knowledge or tools necessary to make it work.

Admittedly, light-speed travel may be unrealistic in the idea that you're physically moving at or past the speed of light. If anything, I don't expect any form of light-speed travel to actually physically break the light-speed travel barrier for at least another thousand years, if not two thousand if never. Pre-existing wormhole networks, quantum abnormalities in space that work like 'warp points', travel that bypasses conventional space or 'teleports' in one form or another. Circumventing the limit instead of reaching it.

And what magical ingredient would you use to bend space time to make your worm hole? >_> You need a "negative gravity" somewhere in the formula to be able to accomplish anything of the sort. Our current physics model might not be the most, but they are not "wrong" either, just a very good approximation of the real thing.

    1+1 = 2

You might argue, you can't go from 1 to 2, without adding 1.

I would say, surely you can. Add two, subtract one.

Beyond the concept that you are, in effect, still adding one, the point is that we may understand physics (and life, and the universe) in ways that are not necessarily wrong, but not necessarily right, either. What if our understanding of physics now is EXACTLY how the entire universe is based, except for certain conditions which we are unable to create / replicate / perceive? What if there's special conditions out there that allow you to use re-written physics? It's definitely possible, who are we to say its not? How can we possibly say its impossible to do things, that may be possible with other methods that we have no way to know (at least not yet) exist? That's akin to saying a lightbulb that isn't lit is broken just because it isn't lit up. Of course, once it glows, its fairly obvious that it works, but not the other way around.

they are not "wrong" either, just a very good approximation of the real thing.
This is where my hope for future technological breakthroughs lies. The world 'used' to be flat, and it was blasphemy to think otherwise, and they still lived life, made things work, and all was well. They had no reason to believe their 'science' was incorrect then, either

Noone's mentioned man-made wormholes until you did.

Gonna point to Jotaru's post for elaborating on the idea that we may be incorrect on some things and aren't aware of it, or flat-out wrong, i.e. the flat-world reference. Science is about being open-minded, and all.

    kaylia is hiding a secret.

    and that secret is...
that Kaylia is really an alien spy working damage control on earth to make us all believe aliens are impossible!!

I understand what you're saying, and I would agree with you in almost every domain of sciences, where there is a lot of place left to progress.

However, when it come to "space travel", we face a huge gap that we can't cross with the tool at our disposal. I can give an hammer, but you will never able to make a bridge without wood or metal, no matter how advanced your bridge science is (digging tunnel with hammer isnt allowed!). The situation here is similar, our science explain things that are far ahead of our technology, but there is a huge obstacle we can't go around using our tool.

Even if we would realize the universe isn't "flat", it would probably not change anything to our situation. You will be stuck with the same electricity, same magnetism and the same atoms that never broke any physics laws before.

I agree with you here, however I think we just differ on a minor point. You are correct, you could have a thousand hammers but not be able to build a bridge without wood or metal. So assume we live on a planet where our day to day experiences, research, and science has shown that there's no such thing as wood or metal (lol, hoping I'm not stretching it too far here)... that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it just means an understanding of the universe where wood and metal doesn't exist would work 'for us', but not necessarily be true. That is the idea that I'm going on.

Edit: For the record, I kinda like these philosophical discussions
