2box log contamination

For those of you that 2box (and more), do you have the same problem? The logs cross into each-other's, making it very difficult to log ToDs. It wouldn't be that bad, but you can't even scroll up sometimes because of it, making it impossible to get me a ToD. Do other people also have this problem? Is it possible to fix it?

an't really help you with your problem, make sure you have the latest version, but you probably have it already.

Only solution I know of is to install 2 copies of FFXI. Some 3rd-party apps that mess with logs might also have a solution, but I don't know for sure.

Get a 2nd computer and run the other acct there, makes it 100 times easier.

Happens to me too :3 Alt-tabbing is nice feature, but when you go back and look at the 2nd character's log its all messed up.

Happens a lot but it hasn't really been a cause of any major problems.. It's just annoying to not be able to check back in the log sometimes. But I find it far easier to play two accounts on one PC than on two PCs, the speed at which you can go back and forth between each of them with alt+tab is > all.

Yeah, I'll take this small inconvenience. A lot easier(and safer) to be on one machine.

It happens a lot and there's no way to fix it, it's just something you have to deal with when running two accounts on one machine.

i thought it was weird to happen to me since i only run 1 account at a time. Ive dual boxed like 2x ever and i only heard about it happening to people who run more than 2 accounts according to my friends on vent. But if its happening to other people than i guess its not a big deal really. Just an inconveniance
