dual box on single pc is for chumps, champs have 2 pcs and do it literally.

FFXI saves the logs of incomming crap to PlayOnline/SquareEnix/FINAL FANTASY XI/TEMP so if 2 ffxi are running it saves both the incomming logs to the same location, so if you open up your log window, it reads from the .log files in that folder and thus reads a mix from your 2 running ffxi
like stated above, the only way to decently fix it is to install 2 ffxi or to get another PC

What kind of specs does your computer need to 2box on the same PC. I have tried this in the past and it has always been to laggy. However I just upgraded my computer so I am thinking it might work better now.

tbh im not really sure. On my PC, I was able to 3box really easily with very little lag besides net issues. Specs were 1.6 ghz processor, 6000 card, 1 gig ram, etc.
I just got a brand new laptop the other day, 2.2 ghz processor, 8400 card, 2 gigs ram, and I cant 2box without being lagged to death. I think it might have something to do with vista though orz
