Ultimate Ninja Speed - How fast a Ninja can swing

I would be missing Byakkos Haidate because I needed that slot for Koga Hakama. Using Walahra Turban, Fuma Sunate, Koga Tekko and Velo Belt make you land at exactly 18% haste. To still get capped haste there are 2 possible ways.

The first needs you to sub DRG for Wyvern Earring 5% and to use Shinobi Ring 4%. But since its a Speed Video you will reach 100TP super fast and the Ring will deactivate itself. There also is the Ring with 4% in Assault and the Cape for 3% in Besieged - but I have neither of them and they would not be very suited for making a movie.

So I decided to go the Shinobi Earring way for a fat 20% Haste and used my Turban with it.


Weapons:
Hornetneedle & Beestinger 150 Delay each

Dualwield Items:
Ninja Chainmail
Koga Hakama
Suppanomi

Haste Items:
Shinobi Earring 20%
Walahra Turban 5%

Magic Support:
Haste
Soulvoice Marches


This is the fastest setup for NIN possible - unless you count the missing Double Attack from the Brutal Ear slot or COR Rolls for even more Double Attack.



Halfway trough the test Grifter demanded to try out Kraken Club offhand. Theoretically it would be faster just main handing it even on 45% Dual Wield Bonus but the results still look pretty neat.

What gloves were those? Kote? Would the fastest setup not include dusk gloves+1 or AF2 gloves. I dunno, they looked like O.kote to me.

A pair of Bando Kote. Since there is a Hastegear cap of 25% I didnt need any of my other Haste gear.

I'm always in constant doubt on how to gear my Ninja. As soon as I become happy with a setup, someone always comes along and makes me think there's something different I should be using!

2- Try MNK with Kraken, and keep track of the swings. Then post your numbers. It would be nice to see. Current theory is that there is a cap on the number of actual swings that can occur in a given amount of time (this is separate from the 8 that is allowed in an attack round). You might be able to extrapolate the swing cap for us, but don't expect 800 swings =/

i did a video like this 2 years ago in shitty gear, and it was more entertaining, lol. doing it with better gear than i had 2 years ago, NOW, is nothing out of the ordinary. The 100 fist video that i had with corvis sparked like.. another 100 full haste nin videos, even some thf ones. I think one of the best ones i saw was the mithra from Fairy. I think his name was Firien or something..

You'd need to first do a test round with a normal club of the same delay.
