I saw indeed quite some movies, too. Most were half assed tho and no quite the max haste. I did one myself back then in crap gear like NQ Panther Mask.

Isn't the haste cap in gear 27% since haste values aren't presented 100% absolute?

Ex: Byakko's Haidate is 4.785 (?) haste, not 5%.

....I'm pretty sure 25% haste is the cap for recast on spells, not wearing past 25% for actual attack speed would be stupid.....

Gear cap is 25%, haste cap for spells is 50%, attack speed haste cap is 70%

Gears cap at 25%
Spell cap at 40%
JA has no known cap, but you can get as much as 25% on drk on 2h weapon (hasso+drk merit ability)
Total: 90%


Spell recast are capped at 50% if that's what you meant (haste cap from gear is still 25%)

Yeah, I meant spell recast And I didn't think that JA/JTs would figure into the "Haste" cap, since they reduce delay moreso than they directly haste...that's just what I've read anyways, I don't know too much about Hasso/DB3.
