It was a bit grating at first (mostly when they mispronounce each others' names), but I got used to it. See the first page for my views on voice acted localizations in general.

I actually liked all the voices except for Fuuka. I watched the ending in JP after I beat the game, and honestly I thought the english voices were better. Being able to understand what they're saying gives more emotion to the dialogue, if you believe otherwise, you're just a Japanophile. The only problem I had was how they kept saying sensei, sempai, etc; should have just left that shit out.

Maybe if you haven't been watching subbed anime for 10 years. Like I said on page 1, just stick both sets of voices in the game and everyone's happy.

lol not this again. There wasn't enough room for both voice sets so some weeaboo stole Atlus's hard work and put in the JP voices which in my opinion aren't any better.

Although in this case the acting seemed to be "meh" on either language if you ask me. They're both fine, neither of them are amazing

Having trouble with World Balance(Floor 236), it isn't even hard outside the fact that he keeps wiping out my party around its last 5% of HP left, which afterwards turns to be the main character and him going at it toe to toe because at this point he keeps one-shotting anyone I revive, and spamming Megidolaon over and over, I just can't outlast it.

Using: Aigis(Lv66) Yukari(64) Mitsuru(63) and main character, 65, equipped with Thanatos. Any tips or suggestions on what I should do? S.Links maxed are..Fool. Magician, Lovers, Chariot, Death, Star. Reason i'm using those characters is because its what I used up to this point and the others are severely underlevelled, I really don't wanna grind exp because I feel like i'm at a good enough level to finish the game. Any personas I should make? Or something <_<

Friend of mine had issues with that fight also... I steamrolled it at level 60 easily. Forget what I did personally though.

I had lilith use makalakarn (I think I spelled that right... the reflectga, she spawns with it), causing it to only use megidoraon every turn, then focused on healing and buff/debuffing.

Let me know if you have trouble with the next two bosses. Getting MC to 70 so you can buy the last tier of stuff from the shop really helps for the 3 cyclops things, because it's a mostly physical fight. For the one after that, focus on piercing damage and let Koro or Mitsuru use fire/ice break if they have it by now.

Just beat the game, holy shit, wow. That game was great, really have to thank this thread for making me play it. Only thing I didn't really understand, what happens to the main character after he falls asleep by Aigis on the rooftop?

The main character effectively dies. When he uses the Great Seal in the final battle he is more or less creating a barrier between Nyx and our world using his Soul. He has one final wish when he does that; and that's to see his friends on graduation. With that fulfilled he passes into a permanent coma of sorts. Persona 3: Episode Aigis deals directly with this. Aigis is the member of the group most affected by the passing on of the main character.

Liked the first two episodes, and loved the way 2 ended, but the 3rd was disappointing. Loved the fact Igor makes his apperance in these. Don't really like the way they summon their Personas, though. The entire 'drawing out your shadows' the teens are doing is eh...since I thought only a select few had the ability to summon their Personas (which was also using an Evoker, and seems to be missing so far.)

Though, too early to tell. Perhaps the later episodes will shed more light onto it. Also, thanks for the explanation to the ending, hopefully FES comes stateside. Now to finish Growlanser HoW.

4th Episode was good... and ouch Growlanser that game was painful to play. Enjoyed the story but they ruined the combat system compared to the previous 3.

Yeah, Growlanser's irritating. Mainly just playing it since I bought it when it came out, and nothing else to do to kill time with till Lost Odyssey.

I just picked up Devil Summoner for $20, which made me want to pick up Digital Devil Saga when I saw a rare copy used at EBgames (I'm glad it's rare, or I would never have been able to convince myself to splurge on it), which is now making me want to pick up Persona 2 and 3 as well. The local EBgames gets new copies every once in a while, guess I'll have to keep checking.

I have to say, though... the plot of DDS is pretty intense and it's only an hour or two in. It makes me want to see what would happen in the real world if suddenly we all had to eat each other to survive, that's fucked up.
