Just applied to my LS. BLM WHM NIN75 THF getting up there too at 63. Says they were in Tribeftw on Asura. Seems like a decent app, but anything you guys can add would be appreciated.

The name isnt familiar to me, but I checked Tribes roster and said person isnt listed. Nor is there an Ayu listed as a registered member of their forums. So either theyre really fast about editting their roster, or they used another name. Orophinn, Kayos and Jpeg post here and are in Tribe currently.

Is it a hume female? I'd bet it's Evox...AH histories seem to match up as to when evox dissapeared from asura and Ayu appeared on Phoenix.

If it is Evox, only recruit them if you're happy for them to remove pearl and xp during events.

Caught them online just (finally, damn my weird hours) now. Confirmed Evox, Asura server. Anything drama, lootwhoring, etc? Taking a pearl off to go exp is bad, but not enough to outright deny someone. I'll give them a chance, they may have changed.

From what I recall, when they 'left' Tribe, they didn't say anything, just handed their character over to someone in a rival LS without letting an admin break their pearl etc.

I was in Tribe with Evox for a brief time (December 2005 - June 2006). Skill wise, he never stood out to me either way - he was neither the dependable badass nor the "lolplayer" you ridicule on vent. Attendance wise he seemed decent, although my standards for decent are likely not up to par with linkshells with a more "hardcore" slant. He apparently did give away his toon to a member in Remedy without breaking his pearl first; though I only heard from second-hand testimony, I assume that it's true. It definitely is a cause for concern if your linkshell is heavy into pride politics.

He seems a bit indifferent as a player, a casual HNM go-er that isn't diehard about the game or his linkshell, but definitely on often enough to contribute. I don't think he's into the hardcore, 24-hour-event end-game linkshell that relatively dominates its respective server, so if that fits your billing than you may seek elsewhere; but if your linkshell tolerates a player skipping an event to merit and isn't demanding in a nationalistic, go-team agenda, I think you can pick up a decent member.

I was in Tribe for about a year with Evox ... and basically everything Palo said was true so I'll leave it at that.
