What I do mind are the kiddies with no free time sitting outside a lowbie town to kill anyone who walks out. My friend's paladin has been stuck in a town for a week cause every night there's a few level 70's that don't have the skill to hack it in real pvp so they have to gank people 30 levels below em.
    um, couldn't he just stone?

And meh, too lazy to xp 40-70 heh..
Her hearth is set there. She could fly, but all the quests for her level are down at Booty Bay and the naga camp, so she's kind of hosed. I may have to go play body guard again as I was able to take down one of the 4 by myself. so that right there proves they suck :D

Not on Crushridge lol. Theres a guild named Gank that does nothing but arena, BGs, and amazing accomplishment of killing lowbies in STV and hillsbrad.

    Re: Time consumption in WoW?

I saw you kids bitching about lvling in wow so I had to come spit on you. Lvling your first character, will take longer then others. But like someone said before; after your first character its like crawling compared to running when you level up your second or third

But honestly Thats before the lvling/quest guides came out. If you wanna level fast, use on of the lvling guides mentioned; You can get 1-60 in 5 days played on your character (video taped by one of the guide makers). And lvling 60-70 is a fucking joke; theres about x10 more quests from each npc in outlands compared to azeroth. Not to mention you make bank for mounts in outlands.

As far as pvp vs pve. PvP does have its setbacks if your leveling your first character, PvE servers are lame and your a pussy if your on one. And if you ask me, PvP servers aren't really PvP, it should be full PvP anywhere no matter who owns the zone. And as an ex-FFXI player, one of the biggest draws to WoW is because of their PvP system. I mean turn based attacks in ballista is a fucking joke compared to WoW PvP.

    also about classes
Warlock - Over Powred, requiers no skill to play, be this if you wanna be the best !
Hunter - Ranged-DPS with Pet, This class defently has an Overpowered talent spec, but isent 100% amaing in every aspect like a warlock.
Mage - meh decent, one of the harder classes to play, Magic Ranged DPS
Shaman - hybrid class, not sure how to explain...
Warriors - Warriors are badass with good gear, this class you are either a tank or dps in your talent spec.
Priest - Has healing and DPS specs, both amazingly good
Druids - Hybrid class, can be a rouge/healer/or warrior
Paladin - Healer/buffers, has an OK magic damage set
Rouge - ninja like 2 hand meele dps'ers with stealth

I wouldn't say Warlock requires no skill, but it definitely it way too overpowered.

And lol, Ballista was the dumbest thing in online gaming... ever.

Warlock takes no skill. PvE all it takes is an addon to track the timers on your DoTs, and you do incredible DPS, PvP is nothing but spamming fear and DoTing people, which is enough alone to shut down 90% of the player base because they spaz out the second they get hit with fear.

Paladin has been ridicilously easy so far. Can usually take on three or four mobs at once, and still have enough juice to Refresh the Mana users around you, heal yourself twice with Holy Light, heal someone else three times, and still pounce on the next pack of three monsters without having downtime.

don't forget about noobs getting 800k damage in AV because they're throwing out Seed of Corruption on 5 targets before they die

anyway, I quite like WoW but it's..for lack of a better term easy.

Paladin is the king of multi-mob grinding. Warlocks can do it too but they have to move from target to target. A pally can just sit there getting beaten on and still come out on top with most of his health/mana for the next 'pull'

    Re: Time consumption in WoW?

Seems to be a unwritten rule, that if you pass someone in the field, that you exchange buffs. Like i'll Blessing of Wisdom a magic user for Refresh, or Blessing of Might/Kings a melee, and in turn i'll get Power Word: Fortitude or that one Intelligence buff. You start to feel bad if you zone out for a minute, and forget to buff someone you pass, or miss returning the favor to someone else. It may just be a Horde thing, though, but you can usually expect if someone else is grinding nearby, that they'll jump in to lend a hand if you need it and vice versa. Far more helpfulness then i've experienced in other MMOs.

Happens Alliance side too. MP regens quickly and most buffs are instant-cast.

Best part? Full duration on low level targets.

In arena, warlock DOES take skill. You have to manage to CoT, silence, fear, dot/dps, keep yourself alive, etc it's really not an easy task. In BGs like WSG or whatever, yeah it's super easy and doesn't take skill b/c the majority of people in BGs suck too.

i hate azshara. low population servers are the worst

p.s. the doubling pally buff thing is gonna own. im lvling pld atm and 5 min blessings in a instance are annoying as fuckkkkk

After putting up with the entire grind of FFXI (everything is a struggle...), I'm so far liking WoW haha. I'm just level 19 atm, but it's been nice making good money and levelling at the same time.

first rule, your first char must not to be war.

War can be god if and only if you got bunch of golds, time and effort to putting in it. Don't be get tricked by those war pvp video lol... war can't do anything if they don't have support and top gear. I wanna cry when I can't even touch the frost mage during dueling (before tbc).

then only job i can win in duel is rouge at that time

    cloth jobs are imba

When I played I had a 60 prot pally for this purpose. It's fun. It's fun to try and make every situation a multi-mob grind, since I actually do better fighting 3-4 mobs than I do fighting 1 >.>
