Dreamweaver 8

Need some help with a website I've been designing for my WoW guild. I have everything setup and it looks correct in the design viewer in dreamweaver. The only problem I'm running into is when I go to upload what I've designed on my server, the code changes. Any good designers out there that I could PM and get a little help with this? Very much appreciated in advance!

How is the code changing?
The tags change? Allignment changes? Frames broken?

Are you working strictly with GUI on DW8 or are you working with the coding sheets as well?
If working with the coding sheets make sure you bump that tail text back up to the style tag.

Also this is, I'm presuming, the code as it appears after its been uploaded?
If it is, can you PM the code as it appears in DW8?

I was working with CFM as the extension if that's what your asking. I'm not a programmer so I don't know every bit of lingo there is to know. I can send you the DWT extension if you want. Pretty sure it's going to look the same as the CFM though.

My advice?

Don't use Dreamweaver's design view, it's garbage, always preview in IE/FireFox (yes, both, for compatibility reasons), and adjust the code to make them look proper from there.


If there's something specific wrong, just link it up, could be something simple that your browser is misinterpreting.
