Warhawk Impressions?

There was a podcast released on IGN recently with the director of the game and he said that there are no bots in the game at all.

I heard/read that as well, go back and watch the original trailers for it on your PS3. There are several scenes where the guy is running amongst like 30+ guys, none of them showing their names above. Maybe it was just an early build?

I think that was a part of the single player that got canceled in those trailers.

Nada, if you look close at the bottom right corner you see [Beta] really small.

Yeah... I haven't deleted the Beta of Warhawk yet from my PS3 . The music was pretty epic at the start too, orchestra and everything.

And if it's true, it's pretty sad, seeing how it's presumably taken off the PSM magazine... for them to 6.5/10 their own 1st party title is pretty funny.

IT seems their first gripe about the game is no bots. That can easily be added with an update or patch.

If you're implying the Editor in Chief is biased, then thats a really bad source.

You change your bias according to who's paying you. Sony now pays him.

I guess, thought it was kinda interesting though, but still 6.5 is a little low for warhawk, and I heard the reviewer complained about the price of the retail version being $60 and something about how there is no bots in game. I just dont think its right, but we'll see, I guess. Also offtopic, but the same issue gave Lair a 5/10, but EGM also gave Lair a low score. I dont really care all that much about scores though, ill still get the game :D

Yeah I agree..I'm assuming 1 point deduction for both so roughly a 8.5/10 if they had a cheaper price and bots in lol.

Well, I always liked PSM reviews, most of the time spot on. However, ever since Chris Slate left among other editors, I don't know what the hell happened and just canceled my subscription.

The game doesn't look that terrible to receive a 6.5, however, I haven't played it nor did I played the beta. Wait and see, I guess.
