alright alright... maybe not lol... I can barely finish a 12oz unless I'm really hungry. >.>
Exo, Ruth's Chris doesn't make very good steaks. Their lobster is decent but the steak is far from what a steak should taste like.
Like I said before, 72$ for a steak is pretty cheap, the steak probably is tough and not very good. Good steaks typically start at around 70$ per 15oz.
Clearly not the ones I've tasted in Atlanta lol..Originally Posted by Boyiee
Say what? Lugers, the best steakhouse in the US is like 70ish for 36 ounces. Since when is prime dry aged porterhouse not a good tasting steak? Most high end steak places serve that and it's not $70 per 15 oz unless all you eat is Filet Mignon or Kobe Beef.Originally Posted by Boyiee
I do eat mostly filet, it's what I was referring to since I don't like prime dry aged porterhouse - that's typically dry and tough to me. I'm not a big steak eater, not a fan of prime rib either. And porterhouse starts at at least 24-25ounces i'd think, I know Ruth's Chris isn't very good for its price. The homestead makes a better steak, sadly, and thats pretty much an expensive fridays. The Filet is more expensive anyway, their porterhouse is probably about 50 for 25oz which isn't much off from 70 for 36.
filet for serious steak eaters is failOriginally Posted by Boyiee
How do you get your steaks cooked? A porterhouse is like 1/3rd filet and if it's a good place the loin side will be just as tender as the filet side.Originally Posted by Boyiee
I said I don't eat steak much, or much meat at all for that matter. The only meat I eat is fish.Originally Posted by evilbau

A free 100$ steak is a hell of a deal. GO, AND HE WAGERED, FOR IT. GO FOR IT.

In regards to "good steak", if you live on the East or West Coast, you really have no fucking clue what a good steak is. Just because it costs 3x what it should doesn't make it better.
Some homegrown BBQ boys out here that would stomp all over the chefs on the coasts.
OH LAWD WE GOTS SUM COUNTRY FOLK UP IN HURR.
The best steak I ever had made me realize why the phrase "Like butta" exists.
Lol, thx.Originally Posted by Kiro
