How are the Ballista Points you get after each match calculated? Do you get more points scoring a petra or killing someone? Is it a set amount (e.g 10 points per kill) or wut?

There are tons of ways to accumulate points throughout a match. I have never seen a guide yet about how to calculate them or anything. But some ways may include provoking, landing a killing blow, scoring petras, curing people, dealing damage, etc.
It's the whole package really. The highest score will come from your team winning, you being the lead scorer and you dealing a lot of damage/killing blows. I've been told taking little damage also comes into play, but I'm not sure on that.
You get some bonus points for your team winning, and bonus points for being the lead scorer, but generally if all you have is a winning team and you did nothing but /quarry and score, you'll only be around 200-210 for score, possibly 220ish. I'd guess that maybe the highest in damage and highest in kills could also get bonus points.
I also believe most of it is all relative to what other people do, so it's not like a kill = 1 point always, but in a small 10 person match a kill might be 2 points, and a kill in a huge 35 person match might only be 1/3 of a point. I've gotten some pretty good scores in small matches iirc, like 230ish. I usually key on killing annoying mages first, scoring second and in most big matches I would manage top 3 in points.
I'm pretty sure you get bonus points for not dying the whole match, too.
