Your favorite hamburger?

in NYC, my favorite place is the Brooklyn Burger Bar. I'm all about the Fuggedaboudit burger...burger topped with smoked mozzarella, proscuito, and sundried tomatoes, accompained by the rest of the regular fixings you choose to put on or not. pretty sure they've been rated the best burgers in nyc since opening, so good. get a side of special fries (tossed with a garlic basil sauce) you're in heaven! they have some other burgers i need to try too

For fast food, the old rodeo burger from Burger King. Cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and onion rings. Plus, it was only a dollar! No idea why they cut it from the menu... Every so often I still make them at home.

Best one I get on a semi-normal basis: either In N Out or Carl's Jr. (Really like the Jalapeno Burger and the Teriyaki burger there).

Best ever: Fat Smitty's in Discovery Bay, WA. If any of you drive to Port Angeles from Seattle ever (don't know why you'd really want to but just in case) you'll pass by this place on the way. Big wooden carvings of stuff outside, really hard to miss. Gigantic and great tasting burgers. Used to go there at least once every month or two growing up.

In 'n out. I'm sure many other west coasters have said it, but I needed to reiterate: if you haven't had it, you don't know what a real burger is! White castle is good too, but just doesn't compare.

I live on the East Coast but I travel to the West Coast every so often and I've eaten at In 'n Out several times and I really just don't understand what's so special about it. The burger just doesn't have enough flavor for me or something and maybe they were just undercooked last time but the fries were terrible.

Hmmm... a perfect burger for me would be double meat, guacamole, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalepenos, grilled onions, and a nice dash of hot sauce on top. Soooo goood....

The problem with that is by the time I get all that on my burger its huge and its hard to eat it lol.

It's all about a Double-Double or 4x4 from In-N-Out with a side of Animal style fries. Not only are they delicious, they're cooked the way they should be.

There's this place at St. Marks in NYC. I don't know the name of it, but they have this chili burger, SO thick, and they pour con carde (sp) chili all over it. I love it.

Yeah a good spicy chili burger is nice. The problem though is alot of places can't get it right and you end up with a soggy burger
