in my opinion,

I think if they packaged a regular dvd of Hard Boiled with 360 version, they would region lock the dvd.

Now because they're packaging it with the PS3 version, all PS3 games are region free, originally they were gonna region lock the PS3 game, and SONY told them to think again.

Then again who knows, lol

I'm positive it has to do with region locking to some extent.

They are doing everything they can to release the PC demo before the games release date. I'm under the solid impression that the demo will be coming out tomorrow (the 18th) due to some articles. Some are saying there is no solid date and some are saying there is, so we will see.

A bunch of Toys 'R Us's sold this game way early, you can search on Ebay and there are tons of people selling the game for 150+ dollars to cash in. I went to a couple Toys R Us near me but I think someone yelled at them big time to take it off their shelf cuz I couldn't find it anywhere :[

Nah, you won't find it. They sent out a company-wide email after the first couple hours apparently, alerting people to the accidental sales, and informing all reps to remove the games from the shelves.

The 360 version is already out in torrents, why couldn't they have put any PC versions out "accidentally"

PC version has some sort of authentication feature, which would probably be difficult to crack + get the game out on torrentsites, and then having it out before its on the shelves would probably be a bit harder

but the reason the 360 version has been leaked, is because Toys R Us broke the street date for the 360 version, and not the PC version

but yeah, i want this game so bad

was checking the comments at VE (http://www.ve3d.com), and heard that even on quad core q6600 + 8800 GTX systems, there are a few frame rate problems, however I believe Nvidia and AMD (ATI) are releasing new drivers the day Bioshock hits shelves for PC, as there are supposed to be optimizations done for this game, and maybe all Unreal 3 games (R6: Vegas plz)

PC demo installed and played it for a bit, though I didnt intend on finishing it, i don't want to spoil the game when i buy it tomorrow

graphically, it's really good, runs nice on my C2D @2.33ghz / 1950XT with maxed settings at 1440x900, i'd say around 45-60FPS

sure as hell runs and looks better than the other Unreal 3 engine game for PC (R6: Vegas)

Riddick was done by Starbreeze, don't think they had anything to do with BioShock, BioShock is from the guys some of the guys behind the original System Shock series. (which was made by Irrational Games)

Anyways, anyone know much regarding the limited edition sets? I got some cash burning on a good game, and I'm eyeing this (fuck you Nintendo for not making a collectors/limited-edition of Metroid Prime 3), but I can't find any online site to place an order on? Amazon, my preferred online-shopping mall only has the limited editions for order from their UK site, and I ain't up for paying duty/shipping & handling.

Can't wait, picking it up tomorrow. All around good scores, really promising demo, I'm sold. Going for the 360 version, since I looked at the Recommend Requirements for the PC, and, well, my system doesn't even meet the minimum, lol.
