So if they are green should I just leave them be? Since when I have them in my reticle it is still red, but I thought it may be a bad idea to antagonize them.
You guys ever attack them when they are green?

You can't when they're green. Green means you've charmed them. Yellow is neutral where it won't attack you, unless you provoke it and occasionally I do attack them because they drop usually 100 gold + random items and maybe you need an extra piece for the atomic bomb, RFC32 or some shit.Originally Posted by Po
Charming them costs so damn much though. It's cheaper to enrage them... only if you do it wrong he'll start shooting stuff at you. If you don't shoot back you should be fine once he returns to normal though. I usually let them play with houdinis for fun.
Maybe I just haven't been paying attention but then again I've explored every inch of each level so far, but I haven't seen anything about charming them. Do you charm them if you harvest the Little Sisters or something?
It's a reward you get from a teddy bear if I recall. (Tenenbaum's gifts)
Ohhhhh, now I remember what you're talking about. I've yet to use that plasmid. I really haven't found any good situations where I could use the enrage plasmid either.
Bioshock's Orchestral score is available for download from Irrational Studios (2k Boston).

Good stuff, I recommend those who like the game to download. First letting your fans design the limited edition box set, then the free artbook now the free Orchestral score. This is how all gaming companies should be!
It would appear they're also giving the creator of the PC version's widescreen FOV hack a free GeForce 8800 as well for his workOriginally Posted by Semitry

question about big daddies:
can you not damage them while frozen? i froze one and proceeded to whail on it and it didnt take any damage.

Just another reason to pick up the 360 version.
EDIT: So I clear every single enemy at the area where the ice blocks the path to the dentist area... I go around the map and finally find the incinerate plasmid, and go back to the area.
Now, I ASSUME the enemies are all dealt with and just waltz in there like everything's cool, get down those stairs and out of fucking nowhere some enemy jumps at me with a wrench lol... only scary part of the game thus far really. (except for the beginning like I mentioned before..)
I started out using everything, but found myself almost exclusively using the crossbow and lighting bolt for the second half of the game, except when the game specifically called for something else.Originally Posted by Pyro
just beat it myself, i fired the crossbow maybe 10 times total the entire game. I never had ammo for it so it never really interested me. My personal favorite is a toss up between the pistol, shotgun, and machine gun.Originally Posted by Xavier
Oh, and the ice plasmid > all. Freeze + 1 shot with antipersonnel pistol round = exploded splicer
I agree with the level 3 freeze combined with either an anti-personnel round or you just use the crossbow. I used the crossbow for pretty much the entire last level. Just finished the game myself literally five minutes ago and I have a couple gripes. First of all, I guess since it's PC version they don't tell you shit about how many of the diaries you got or stats or anything and second, that last fight seemed really really rushed to me and I ws kind of disappointed with it. Did anyone else get the same feeling? It also sucked that you take out all of this Adam from Fontaine and then you don't even get to friggin use it. It's going to be a week or two before I can sit down again and play it on medium and harvest the sisters this time.

Anyone else seen F8 by Jason Wen, that animation from 2001? Thought it was very similar to Bioshock.
I kept it at full most of the time, just using the u-hack machines/ammo vendors. I didn't really like freezing/shattering mobs to pieces, since there weren't any items to collect afterwards.Originally Posted by Mala
