E bow has no cap?

I have both bows. I'm thinking that the price of E.Bow isn't really justified as well.

Nah... only those who believe themselves to be high and mighty will stop there. I certainly read on to see what he has to say. I too have both bows. E.Bow does win out in a parse but the differences that I see between E.Bow and S.Bow is negligible in some situations while pretty significant in others.

It's not a matter of being high and mighty. It's a matter of not being able to compute the damage you deal in the length of an exp party, with your brain. The numbers that make people feel that X weapon is better than Y weapon, usually aren't meaningfull. Using a parser is the best (and only) way to know for sure, because it records each one of your hits, and compute high/low/average numbers that are realistic.

But as Sonoma says, if cost is an issue, S.Bow > E.Bow. If it isn't than E.Bow is definitely better.

Vali's Bow is free though, which is part of Sonomaa's point, too. Yep, you don't even need to buy carrots ^^v

Off-topic question:

Would it be better to camp Eastern Shadow or to farm the 2.4 mil for the E bow? I can make about 100k/hour farming, so I'm trying to figure out which would be a better way to spend my time...

Well I think I spent about 40hrs altogether camping him over 2 weeks (was 1/13, took about 2-3hrs each pop) so it would have been cheaper (for you) to farm for it and buy it. But I wasn't really doing much in the game at the time and had lots of work for college to do, so I'd just log on before the window opened, hang around until he popped and log off until the window opened again.

If you have LS events to attend and HNMs etc it will be difficult to keep track of ToD so it could take even longer. But you could get really lucky and be 1/1 or 1/2, so that would be much cheaper... hope that helps

I hate this NM. I went 0/12 hunting it with a friend. Anotehr friend went afk as smn and woke up to a Vali's bow in her inventory. She's 1/1. Arghghghghghgh. Lol. Screw u SE.
