Well i got back from my vacation this summer to see my comps sound is out, Im pretty sure it was the person who babysitted my house who got it this way as it was fully working when i left it. Anyways when i got to volume control it tells me that i dont have a mixer and that i should install one. I tried to install all the motherboard drivers which didnt work one bit. So today i went out and bought a new sound card which installed. When i went to see if it fixed the problem it did not so i went to Device manager and it told me that the status was "Device could not start (Code 10)". So if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated


P.S I also disabled the onboard sound card when trying to install the new sound card after it did not install
