That is why Assault is just too cool. You earn real game points, and choose what you want to spend them on. None of the linkshell politics of attendence,drama, and favortism. You get out what you give in, period.

busy rl never works with hardcore event type linkshells. People with busy rl's barely ever work out in my linkshell because we have events 6/7 days and if you can't make atleast 50% of the weeks events it won't work out.

Kizou has been in uber for probably about 2months when this happened. I knew him and he was a cool guy and all, so I let him join. The way he explained how his work schedule was going to be was completely different than what it really was. I mean i know he saying that RL > FFXI and all, i say the same thing, anyone should know that. I have a full time job just like most ppl here (i think?). I'm usually easy on the members and when they have something to do in RL, then go for it, whether its work, school, HW, getting laid, etc... whatever it was as long as they're not off exping somewhere during an event. As for kizou, his work schedule was different than what he said, he was working on every single event that we had. He maybe attended 2 events including one JOL in the span of 2 months. There are members that are here most of the time, and of course they will be rewarded ahead of ppl who aren't here.
I'm really not surprised how he cut off most of the chat log w/ me and him. You know how there's always one of those members who aren't getting what they want, so they need to express their feeling in LS causing 'drama', that's where it started to get annoying and a few of us including me, wanted him out. So yeah, we said a bunch of crap at each other and if he's not gonna be here anyways, why not boot him? I think any LS would. In the end, RL does > FFXI, but when it comes down to who's attending more and more often than others, you shouldn't expect to get items if you're there only 2% of the time.

As for Jcisko, I'm not gonna get too much into detail but it was a mistake letting him into LS just like RH. After hearing from some fortune members, I realize we just needed to get rid of him. So no jc, it wasnt only cuz of the CFH jorm, it was much more than that. As for the sarcasm, maybe the first and 2nd time it is funny, but after the 11th and 12th, it just gets old and annoying, especially when you keep trying to get the BLMs to DoT jorm when we're trying to sleep it. Yeah it was CFH'd on, yeah it was a mistake, it happened to one of our JOL's also, but at least it wasn't someone who intended it to happen. Shit happens, we're not all perfect here, and we are still new to this stuff.

to the OP: you're better off finding a shell that is more casual, or atleast has schedules that fit your time frame. really whats the big deal about losing out on an item, I'm more pissed off knowing i have to go to work the next day after I /shutdown.

not really, that just shows what he got screen shotted. Yeah i was strict on attendance, but that's only if you're online at the time. I don't mind members having to miss for rl stuff, it happens all the time. It's just when one says they can attend scheduled events, and only attends 2 of them in the span of about 2 months? and then pulls the RL card? When his schedule was supposed to fit in the first place?

There's no reason to fit rules for myself. I've been running this LS for almost 2 years and it's been almost a year since I got what I wanted. I'm still running this because I still have fun in this video game doing events and helping others get what they want. I'm simply making sure the rules are fit for the majority of the LS, if something needs to be changed that the majority of the LS doesn't like, then it will happen. But I'm not gonna change something over someone who's only been here for 2 events in 2 months.
