Weird internet problem

I have comcast cable internet, and every so often (just about every day) the modem will lose connection and the send light will blink indefinitely. The only way I've found to fix this is to unplug it all, and plug it in somewhere else. After that i can plug it back into the original spot and it works fine.

Comcast Sucks.
When I had them when I lived in SF I thinko it was out at least once a day for at least an hour. They were always either doing 'upgrades' aka Planned Outages which usually last till 5PM and have Int.Svc on them or we would power cycle it and it would work again and it was only after I opened the modem and saw a piece of tape on it that said "BAD MODEM" and made them schedule a tech out that it was fixed. We left Comcast about a week later.

I dont like Comcast either but when I moved into my apt everyone said it was the only service available that could provide cable, phone, internet in the area, but when I signed up they gave me a free DS lite then a week later I got another one so 2 free DS lites is not so bad lol.

you can just unplug the power cable of the modem, let it turn off for 1 min. then plug it back. let all the lights stable. the cable light should be solid. then it should be fine. if its not working, comcast definitely have bad connection atm tho.

This could indicate potental signal degrigation on the line. Call your local support and see if they can pull up your modem signal levels. Most likely the situation will require a tech to come out.
