Endgame Event driven LS?

I completely sympathize with not wanting to camp 3 kings anymore when you have done it for over a year. I was thinking about this also because I don't want to leave my current shell, but if they continue what they've been doing (cancelling in-house dynamis/limbus/ksnm99 for 3-kings). When something is scheduled for a certain timeframe it should be done, not just cancelled everytime a window comes up. So many people act like the 3-kings HNM is the only thing to do end-game.

Same. Hate it when pre-scheduled stuff gets canceled (hence why we don't do it!).

We don't do kings (on a rare occation, we turn up at KB, but that's about it), however more focused on Wryms, BahamutV2/Ouryu farm, Sea, ToU HNM's (mainly Khim and Cerb both over 70+ kills each), Xarc/Beaucedine farm, low man limbus, etc...

We believe in quality > quantity and push ourselves to the limit. Hi2u 9 man Tiamats and 6 man Hydra/Jorm w/e, compared with over 20 ppl in ally SMN 0tp zerging Tiamat yet taking 2 hours lol.

We contribute to pioneering in a lot of areas from RDM tanking to JoL adds Strategy (read thread several pages back), and strive to achieve better results be it speed kill, or low numbers.

I don't think they are responding because they want me per se, I think they are just responding to the thread and putting their shell forward because they have open recruitment - and BG is a great place to recruit cross-server folks that are fairly experienced in endgame. I'm just doing my best to make a decent list of shells so the thread has some use.

How can I acquire your luck? 10% drop rate on KB for D.Ring would be godly, as opposed to the 2-3% or so drop rate Remora seems to get lol.

Regardless, the chances of it dropping are shit, and we don't need a damn thing from it otherwise, so KB's really in the dung heap for us. At least Fafnir gives us n.head (since SOMEONE is always leveling a job that can use heca) and Ridill (haha, yeah, right. 1/29 on that POS), while Nid's drops are all needed, and Aspid is usually way less camped.

Don't see why not , many people think you're a nice guy, however we don't do events regularly enough on weekdays so by reading your OP, it doesn't look like you'd enjoy it much. Most of our events take place on weekends (specifically fri / sat ) , salvage happens almost every day on 2 time slots, depending if you wanna play on AU time or PST time. Every other day is pretty much a free day to do what you like with, ENM / BCNM / EXP / whatever really.

Dynamis used to happen on mondays, but I got a job and can't lead them anymore If I get fired then I can :D

I thought 3 kings was endgame? Either way, a good shell will camp kings *and* do other endgame activities. No real reason to exclude something. If you can't participate in it all because you have a life (e.g. you opt to not do kings because they pop at odd times or you can't spend the time), then you don't have to. A good shell will also have enough people to accomplish what they do.

Events that can not be planned are becoming a thing of the past in this game, especially if they conflict with schedulable events.

We do pretty much everything you ask in some form or another. No Dynamis though, not big enough. Started as a Sky LS, and moved into other areas. Very laid back and non-dramatic, if you are leaving your server because you have burned bridges and stuff, then we are probably not the LS for you. Versus is, I believe, one of the longest continually existing end-game LS's on Odin, we have had people come and go but we still have the same clamholder since the day it was started. We also do Assault and Salvage through the connected social LS.

As someone from Odin, Orion's Door is also a very good LS just to corroborate.

I think its kind of funny that some end-gamers are still so myopic about kings. I would say that it is now a majority of "end-game" LS that do not do Kings instead of the reverse.

Of course some of those myopic people are usually elitists too, and say you aren't really "end-game" if you don't do kings.

Kings is part of end-game, but it is becoming less and less of the overall end-game pie.
