PST Salvage is run by me (9~9:30 PST) as lolBees. We might be looking for one or two reliable people soon to add to our roster, I'll poke you if that happens.

    Re: Endgame Event driven LS?

    I... Hate... Camping... Kings..

Now, every hater of me and my linkshell and Ramuh can run right in and say yada yada yada. I hate it. I hated since before I created the linkshell I currently run. There is nothing worse to me than sitting there for 3 hours and having a sub par chance at actually getting to fight what you went there for. I say sub par, because let's face it. You know whether ppl in your ls bot or doesn't bot, and it shows when the morality of the linkshell is driven down by camping it and never getting it...

With all that said though, I cannot say our ls NEVER camps them, because we do... from time to time. Primarily the only time you will see us camping them is if the windows are in EST primetime. 99.9% of the time, no even will ever be cancelled because zomg niddy is open, fuck that... Ask different peeps in my linkshell they will tell you, when it's time for dynamis, we go to dynamis without fail camp be damned.

The numbers show to though, I guess.

    KB - 3
    Nidhogg - 1
    Aspido - 2

And we been together as an ls for almost a year and a half now or so. But if you look at the other stuff, the numbers are quite different...

    Tiamat - 37
    Dynamis Lord - 14
    Ouryu - 18
    Bahamut v2 - 12
    Cerberus - 31

Just an example really... Moreso, I'm not rly posting here in an effort to lure applicants in either, just trying to express my hatred of sitting in those same zones every single day, day in/day out. Our LS catches alot of slack from the other ls's who sit there in those zones every single day without fail, but we rly don't care they all know where we stand and what we are capable of.

I did say I wasn't posting in an effort to lure applicants, and that's mostly because the ls is stable in the members it currently has, although we would never turn away someone with the proper jobs/skill to back them up. If you wanna see for yourself the kills n what not, you can look at our site which there is a link to in my sig. We used to use GuildPortal for hosting our site but there forums just suck... so we purchased our own space and went php. Any new registering accounts on the forums have to be approved by a admin, and we do this primarily to keep anon gays away. We don't care who posts, but anon, {No Thanks}. If you sign up on our forums maybe shoot an email or a PM on these boards to let us know who it is so it can be approved ^___^

    /king camping rant, off!

Like Wopa's shell, Lost Paradise on Fairy (http://www.lostparadisels.com) focuses on:

Low man limbus (we do 3 chip apollyon runs, etc)
    Ouryu/B2
Wyrms (starting up again this week)
    Dynamis
    Salvage
    Einherjar (starting after update)
ToA NMs (20+ kills on Khim and Cerb, lolHydra twice)
Weekly events (roustam pumps, uggy pendant, golliard, etc)

Note: We are starting up Fafnir camping again (for a few weeks trail) but other than that, I'd say we are quite event driven.

We believe in quality > quantity and push ourselves to the limit. Hi2u 9 man Tiamats and 6 man Hydra/Jorm w/e, compared with over 20 ppl in ally SMN 0tp zerging Tiamat yet taking 2 hours lol.

We contribute to pioneering in a lot of areas from RDM tanking to JoL adds Strategy (read thread several pages back), and strive to achieve better results be it speed kill, or low numbers.
You know Wopa I flinch every time I see you use the word "we". There's never been a "we" in your FFXI career, only you, you and you.

You left your first HNM linkshell right after they gave you an Aquarian Abjuration: Body. You briefly joined another endgame linkshell, and left them too but not before cashing out and taking a v. claw with you. You joined a newly founded Dynamis shell, took the very first Summoner's Pigaches that dropped, then decided that they were not good enough for you and left again. You bribed the legitimate winner of the first Nashira Gages in your Limbus group at the time to pass the gages to you. You bullied your manaburn mercenary linkshell to let you have the first Bahamuth Staff. This was way back when these things were new, so it was a big deal. Even your friends back then described you as "selfish and greedy" (exact quote).

You joined the server's leading Dynamis linkshell at the time, got Xarcabard access from them, and then immediately stabbed them in the back, bypassed their point system and waiting list and conducted your own private Xarcabard farming runs until you had the Xarcabard BLM, RDM, SMN and BRD pieces. By leeching Xarcabard access, then cutting to the front of the line, you got in a few months what others can't get in years. You set up wyrm events with your mercenary linkshell that had the most unfair, offensive loot conditions imaginable. You asked outsider tanks, healers, etc. to help you and lose exp for you so that you and your BLM buddies could pocket the lion's share of the profits.

You remained without a full-time HNM linkshell for some time, occasionally doing sea and HNMs with JP groups that let you tag along. You kept bragging about it in your Xanga and encouraged the misunderstanding that all these Ridill/E Body WARs and KC DRKs were your linkshell and that you deserved credit for their accomplishments.

But you didn't equip these people. Just like by and large you didn't equip the members of your current group. You didn't farm sky for years, didn't camp kings for years for them. You just recruited them with the promise of free lots on rare/ex drops and quick gil without commitment. And you succeeded brilliantly. Your group practically owns CoP wyrms and ToAU HNMs on Pandemonium server, thanks to your innovative use of around the clock camping of 72h pop NMs. You personally control the market for Herald's Gaiters. The funds your group farmed up for you helped you get a Gjallarhorn. What was the distribution ratio again during those early days when you were upgrading? 30M drops from Khim, and 20M of it went to you personally, with everyone else just getting scraps from the table? At least that's the rumor I heard.

So yes, you're a success as a businessman in the make-belief economy of this game. Few play the gil extraction and item acquisition game like you do. And you have a knack for using, co-opting and buying - and in some cases, stealing - people and making ad-hoc alliances for getting what you want. But you're not a community builder. Transcendental values like sharing, friendship, loyalty, fairness, altruism and genuine respect and concern for others have always been beyond you.

I'm not posting this to generate drama, though it undoubtedly will, but simply to make ensure that people who consider joining your group get an idea of just what kind of person you are and how many people you have hurt over the years in your relentless ambition to get you what you want.

    Re: Endgame Event driven LS?

And what's wrong with any of that, assuming the people in his LS don't care? It's nice that you posted your opinions of his LS, but you could've shortened that whole post up to about 3 lines AND avoided starting stupid drama in a thread that's supposed to be about LS suggestions. How about:

"Wopa's always in it for himself, he just happens to get a lot of shit for other people in the process. Make sure you're ok with that before you consider applying there."

That way you sound a lot less like an obsessed stalker and more like someone giving advice.

Right, like 5 months after yea? At that time Leadership was shaky, Vigion gave leadership to Rysen, and there were a lot of uncertainties. A lot of old school players, Me, Chibchiba, Tyrial, Nobure, etc... all left about the same time, WAY before you even smell Serket. Go back to your hole, and cry me a river.

That was the LS policy of creating a wishlist. I worked hard for it, attending events and scoop up points, well deserved. Wanna talk about lootwhoring? YOU took Vclaws, Shinning Cloth, Behemoth Hides, W.legs, DALMATICA (ONLY DALMATICA in LS which you forced the entire LS to camp Aspid for you), Haidate, Novia earring, etc... to name a few. LOL You even FORCED people to camp VIVIAN for you and it is compulsory to attend VV CAMP. Several people in your ex-LS came to me complaining on how YOU are using them as lemmings for your own needs. Needless to say, AFTER you got your VV RING, LS Stoped camping VV (surprised surprised)

Yes, because you as the leader of that LS sucked. Good enough reason

You are not in my JP Limbus group, you have no clue how we run. We use a bidding system of coins / gils worth. Highest bidder gets it.

You are not in Kaboom LS, you have no clue what you are talking about again. It was FREE Lotted with all SMN lv 75. I won the lot with 950+ if I remembered correctly. How is this "let me have the staff", when I lotted it fair and square against Mercedes, Aviendah, Windwhisper, Grumpy, Evalene, etc... whom all have 75SMN?

Way to go on your info again. Hydracorps got me my BRD legs btw HC leaders are even happy and mutually agreed that it is better for the shell because the list of AF that ppl wanted will be shorten. FYI, I pay FULL points for the AF's I got from my mid week runs. There's another group that did this too at that time that was in HC. Cry me a river!

This is internal matter, I was not the one to decide on it, but on the other hand, on all Kaboom members.

Most members in my shell now are retirees from the 3 Kings. They already have w/e they want from Kings, and basically want something bigger, which I am able to provide. I don't equip my members? You kidding me right?
Novios, Novias, Gaiters, Highest Bahamut mask/staff count LS on Pandy, 6 Hauteclaires in LS, over 30+ Algols, 14 Seveneyes, etc... Need I say more.

You heard wrong again my dear jealous friend. We all have equal profit share. I do not, and will never condone unfair policy against my members and ripping them off (unlike you how you took so much from your LS and ditched them after you miserably failed on JoL Call for Help, and wiping to Fafhogg ROFL)

Thank you. Your storytelling is amusing.

Now go back to whereever you come from and keep envying us because you will never get to kill anything decent in your career with all the loot you lootwhored.
I have NOTHING to hide, besides, I live on envious people like yourself. hehe. Keep it up.
Everything that you claim/made up stories about me, has got nothing to do with you. Why are you so full of hatred and pure envy that you have nothing to do but to write out entire essay lol.

I kinda don't understand the "we hate kings, but we've got tia/cerb/khim on lockdown" thing. Seems kinda contradictory, but if anyone cares to explain I'd be interested to hear.

You have to camp kings, while you can get shit done 'til cerb/khim/timmy pop since you don't have to camp them? (Well, Khim is camped by some silly LS's).

Yeah uh, khim/tia/and even cerb I think require some camping now. You pretty much need some capacity to hold when it spawns. I mean I guess you can split up shifts, but it's still pretty much a timesink similar to kings.

    Re: Endgame Event driven LS?

On Lakshmi Tiamat/Cerb/Khim is camped too but only by mules or 2-3 people per ls at a time (a holding group) unless its in the last couple of hours of the window which is when you get Khimaira's Aery etc. Cerb is still pretty much up unclaimed for a significant period of time regularly before people go out and kill it.

Camping Faf on the otherhand is lag hell for 3 hours filled with 150+ people from every random retard LS who thinks cause they know how to bot, mpk and shit talk (and wipe after 59 mins) it makes them better than everyone else. Just because some ls's choose to not be involved in the DA drama regularly doesn't make them any less of an end game shell if they regularly participate in other end game events. It is the way their ls is orientated and most people who pick an ls to apply to I am sure are aware of how often each different ls camps Kings when making their application.

The way I see it is that there is now so many different end game events to participate in that LS's can't possibly cover all of them effectively on a regular basis so each LS is very different in the way they focus their time. It is up to the individual to apply to an LS that focuses on events they themselves are interested in.

    Re: Endgame Event driven LS?

To be honest, i think the topic about Wopas self named LS is mostly just whispers within pandemonium with random outbreaks of fury by people. While i dont care to read all the reasons that other dude hates you wopa, i understand you feed on it when its voiced. But i definitely chuckle at the following quote, playing ignorant as to why someone isnt happy with you :

    Quote Originally Posted by wop

    When you recently said :

You get your enjoyment from the grief you cause the rest of the server. Its fine, people get it, hell you let people know thats what your doing. But dont act like you dont know why you piss random people off. Anyone that misses having any chance at the wyrm fights, has some frusturation about the monopolization you have on them. But dont be so self righteous to call others envious of you so quickly. I think what you call envy, can easily be a misconception of frustration of a player base that has to play on a server with no chance at some of the funner fights in game, simply because others sacrifice their real lives for the sole enjoyment of ruining a video game for others. And dont take this as a flame against you, its not. But im sure you can sense a little frustration that your main motive for your actions is to grief the rest of the server, and in turn, indirectly, your main motive is to grief me as a player. To be honest i think thats as close to truth as youll hear about "why there is such hatred towards you"

Leviathan : MoonGlow. Sky once a week, Limbus x2 a week, Sea twice a week, Einherstuff once a week, salvage and KS99 sometimes, Ouryu and people made their own Assault groups. Kings only when window comes into EU playtime, other bosses (Cerby, Jorm, etc) sometimes. + Dyna of course. We used to do ENMs often but I guess we're too busy now. Tsk.
Ya we're mainly EU so many NA have issues joining events.

Atm melees spots are full (what LS isn't heavy on DD anyway), we're looking for PLD/mages/support.

    Check sig for further info.

More like, the "minority" of the server.
Not sure if you know this, but my LS is made up of people across all nations from JP, NA, Canada to EU, etc...

Since our establishment, we had given opportunities to many Kings only LS a chance to fight more exciting mobs which totally opened up their end game scope. From Wildswan, Finale, Fightclub, to social LS's Maganac, my JP Limbus LS members, etc..., these people have never fought anything big before we came by.
You have no clue how many tells I get from people all over thanking me for letting them tag along to fight not just wyrms, but also ToU Beastmen Kings alike for the sheer experience of it.

Seems like the people that are envious of us are the NA HNM shells like yours and Kupo, that used to dominate the HNM scene here. Irony eh?

Oh, and for Fornax above, Aka Etherion, he joined Kupo right after that post lol. Good for him and I wish him all the best. At least he has a chance to fight HNM's now with the loot he whored from his previous shell.

Either way, I seek no war or drama with other end game LS's here. However, we both have to agree, there are matters more serious now since the arrival of botting UAE Rare LS from Valefor. They even teamed up with another UAE Paradigm LS on Aspido yesterday. Instead of flaming each other LS's here, we could well put our resources to tackle this problem at hand.

    Wopa~

Let me pretext this by saying that I hold no ill-manner against you or your LS. However wopa, you left caffeine closer to 5 days after gettin abody than 5 months. Also, the only reason you received abody was because chibchiba passed it to you. I would still love to know the specifics of that agreement you two had considering chib received the very next abody.

Just FYI, this is in fact the sort of linkshell Journey's End is, but we're not currently open for applications. Good luck with your search!
