Cross Reaper confirmed

Awesome - thanks. Finally something that ...might be a big deal for endgame? Or is 100% accurate Cross Reaper still LOL compared to Spiral Hell?Originally Posted by test123

Perhaps Sturmwind is counted as an autofired Double, along with the other attacks listed as working.
You could never really know if you hit or missed a double attack on a weapon skill since its only evident when you hit unless you use jailer weapons and count your stones. With respect to Warriors Charge, I believe if it works with one 2H weapon, it should work for others so the double attack should be guaranteed if the ws is only one hit to begin with.
I remember specifically liking /THF years ago before I had Asurans due to the fact that the second hit never missed. I could be wrong and had a streak of 100% acc on ws during that time(and only while /THF) but I doubt it. Not trying to push this as fact just relaying what I remember.
The fact that once upon a time MNK was never allowed to melee any big mobs and that Chi every 3 min was more effective(since gaining 300 tp and boosting to max atk took more than 3 min) I can see why not many MNKs would notice something so trivial.
Another thing I remembered from before that was when I played THF/NIN, my offhand hit would always land on SA+Viper Bite. Again I could be wrong but I vividly remember noticing this happening back then which means alot when you can't remember what you had for lunch yesterday.
sub thf/nin offhand hits have always landed 100%. At least as far back as I can remember.
I got a great laugh out of this, a long time ago I got about three people telling me how stupid I was for suggesting SA made the second hit of Sturmwind connect with 100% ACC. Nice to see someone went out of their way to test, since all I had to back it up was back when I was leveling WAR/THF... which was back in 2005, so this must have been around for quite some time.
That's a side affect (I guess you could call it that?) of Sneak Attack, which guarantees the entire attack round will land. (Have you ever missed an offhand swing when using SA or post-Assassin TA?Originally Posted by Tdizzle

Be careful ever using something Madawc tests or says as 'confirmation'...Cross Reaper confirmed

He tends to like to DW Ridill+KC for DRK zerging, among other zany, even more drastically wrong things. That being said, it might be true, but he is nuts.

This is something I originally concluded when I got an 11% tp return on SB (9% for the 100% acc hits then two extra attacks, most likely a triple attack) but I know that since AC has been around I've not gotten the full tp return from that. So either what I originally thought is correct and AC is a different form of Triple Attack, or what I thought is not accurate. But I do know that when I Mercy Stroke while flashed it often doesn't seem to be the minimal tp return. More testing is needed to completely verify this for me, but it's a theory I generally go with.Originally Posted by NynJa
Yes please, throw out the work I've done so far because I don't know how credible Madawc is. Awesome.Originally Posted by Skeetaru
If people are being skeptics of Madawc's results, please test it yourself if you have 75drk. I don't want to spread misinformation, although his testing looked decent, though not great.
I can confirm full TP gain and no miss on either hit with BLU/THF. Done it plenty of times.Originally Posted by Demosthenes11
This would be the first report of it working with a 1h WS - any chance I could get a more controlled test (preferably with an IT mob -and- blinding potions?) I just want to make sure we're getting proper info - anecdotes, even recent ones, make me wary.Originally Posted by kuronosan
Problem solved, good thread back on tracks.
Im the guy who started the original thread on KI, with my friend Magicaltrevor being the person who identified the Sneak Attack change.
If you dont mind, unconfirm the Impulse drive test, being naked on byakko, the second hit obviously wouldve done zero damage, hence the 1 hit return.
Good point, that damn "2nd hit for 0" possibility is an enemy in our pursuits of knowledge. Any dragoon/thf want to test out with blinding potions on an IT xp mob for a bit? It'll give you something to do while LFPing.Originally Posted by Peacemillian

However, I have missed doing this - on a triple proc. I got an 8% TP return on one (100% 2-hitters are 7% single-wield) meaning I triple-proc'ed and missed one of the extra two hits.
The theory evolves...
With Raldo on Nin/thf he's confirmed that Blade: Ku and Blade: Jin are not 100% on all hits - he's 100% so far on Blade: Chi and Blade: Retsu, all with blinding potions.
...we're going to play with Lurkers now - want to confirm that Chi and Retsu work, and test, um, Shark Bite.
Yea, I was a little skeptical at first when the thread was originally posted on KI, but then again the guy lacked all kinds of intelligence, and the topic title was completly wrong, but after that initial phase, and going out and trying it, its very easy to see that something was edited, clearly sneak attack has been edited in some way, but it dosen't effect Dancing Edge for sure, so with that I went out, and grabbed nin/thf and did a few tests, for those who dont know blinding potions give -256 acc, and with a base skill of I believe 125~GKT on nin there was no possibility that I could have hit that consistent.Originally Posted by archibaldcrane
Also archi, Im pretty sure shark bite can still miss, albeit rarely, but still has the potentional too, so I'm guessing dagger wasn't effected by this change, so Its not as broad as just SA gurantess x amount of hits, but rather its a change for (weapon type) when coupled with SneakAttack.
As I said in my post that archi quoted, Im not on PC, so I cant do screen shots, but if you doubt me, and are on Garuda, feel free to get ahold of me in game, (Jez) or on here and I'll be more then happy to show you, or if you would like to go test anything specific.
I'm gimp and don't have drk unlocked so I wont be able to test scythe, if you've already got katana no point in me going out to do that, is there any weapons/skills that still need to be tested?
