    So, Pup gets the ability to be a back seat WHM, ha ha, Summoner V2.
    I don't see whats laughable about this. I appreciate the extra utility and am eagerly looking forward to more specialized Stormwaker models. The ability to actually cure other people with our Automations while we punch people is what a lot of us have been after for awhile actually.

    Oddly enough Evoker's didn't even enter my mind when reading that, though I have a feeling it may not be altered too drastically. Perhaps +1mp to all possible outcomes.

    I'm going crazy over the possibilities with the other rolls though. Chaos could actually be useful, and is it possible for Rogue's and Fighter's to become even more awesome? Warlock's Roll getting a boost is nice, I always thought the potential of that was never implemented well. Hell, Samurai Roll could even turn out to be pretty awesome. Depending on how much the rolls are boosted, I actually can't think of a roll that wouldn't be useful in a certain situation.

    Holy crap, will I actually get to use Gallant's Roll now?

    Also, the equip that affects the range of rolls will be really nice to have, in some fights its difficult to tell where the hell everyone is and where to best place yourself so that everyone gets covered.

    Update to Fold sounds amazing too, glad I haven't maxed out my Tier 2 merits yet.

    And new bullets, fuck yeah. So much win. Soooo much win.

    Finally, the pupdate is at hand. This update is all mine. bst adjustment, pup adjustment, 2handed adjustment for my drg, and probably a little something with scummoner too.

    While that's good and all, I was more refrencing to the likelyhood that players will simply have PUPs sub White Mage and sit back curing with their puppets, like how summoners are adopted as white mage would be's too.

    wouldnt worry too much about that happening, having no innate MP pool and all

    Why would the Puppetmaster sub WHM if the automation would have a higher MP total? The thing with SMN is that they actually have MP to throw Cure III and need MP for Spring Water and such. As soon as players noticed that BLU had access to Vermy and Auto-Refresh people suggested that they might end up being /WHM healers too. And while its passable that isn't what the average BLU (NA at least) actually does.

    I agree, also, from a soloing point of view, if curagas could cure the puppet AND master, Role Reversal is more efficient, as is Ventriloquy. If the Healing head also has haste, soloing would be vastly improved.

    The BLM head could go up to teir 4s, which is an extra hand to fill in for 1/2 a BLM, or help out on melee resisted mobs (hi2ufortitude)

    I think both these new heads, which would seem insignificant to most people, are exactly what Puppetmaters really want.

    The problem isn't the power of EMs or even finding them, really. It's the stigma bringing in an element that lowers exp. The Call Pet change, however, might actually fix PT play for BST and the Stay fix might help the solo situation. Throwing mob after mob was an old strategy for BSTs. Now that they'll be able to engage their healing AND give them Rewards all while taking no exp cut, the dynamic could change.....I think :x

    looks more to me like noone gets the 30% penalty period.
    No one got the 30% penalty before update except the BST anyway.

    They mean charming a Tough mob and fighting with it in your party will act like having a lvl 76 or 77 in your party = less exp for the party in general.

    Edit: WTF @ COR buffs as I'm getting BRD to 75. ; ; Oh well, I still have my Storm Fife for Salvage and don't require an Ability cell.
    Finally, the experience penalty previously incurred by a beastmaster while using a charmed monster will be done away with.
    We know the parties don't get the penalties, which means that this sentence most likely means BSTs wont get the 30% penalty while soloing. Using mobs T+ should still raise the party's(beastmaster+pet) level and lower your base exp, I would think.

    edit: Although the way they word it, they might make it so pet's level also has no effect on your exp, but I think that would just be a little silly <.<

    and to below poster: my bst is still 62/64(forgot lol) so I'm happy =D

    Yeah, BST is still worthless. Ok, so instead of wasting 15k every 15minutes, it will most likely last for 30mins instead. 90mins for carrie/shroom, ohhh thats 90mins of worthlessness, thinking of PT situations here.. the pets acc/dmg sucked to begin with, extending the time doesnt fix that. The only good thing is that there is no exp loss. BUT ITS TOO LATE SE, thats only good for soloing, anyone who wanted to lvl BST has, this wont make many more people lvl it. And in a PT situation? Yeah.. What camps have available mobs to charm? Colibri? (serously thats probably the only camp) Your PT will probably bitch at you for taking a mob they could have chained.

    Any pups or bsts want to make a pet burn with a cor? My pup and bst rolls should be getting further buffed.

    I'm super excited about the PUPdate. My biggest concern is that we're going to have to throw more tradeskill goods at the Automation Workshop to have these heads "crafted" for us.

    Twenty bucks says the silly Galka PUP asks for Khroma Ore or something else completely unreasonable to make the new heads. That or he'll ask for something more reasonable and end up destroying the price of that particular item for a month or more. I sincerely hope these new heads are quested somehow or something and not "Go to the Auction House and buy A, B, and C." like the other frames.

    The bst update was sort of meh... at least we didn't get nerfed. Unfortunately the only exp party camp this helps bst out at for exp at 75 is against trolls. Still worthless in most end game activities. But having a 30k-100k pet out for 30-45min will be nice, physical 1000 needles for all, where did I put my hat >.>

    O nice BST update, still not what the job needed most to actually get those pt invites...
    Maybe we can finally start using other jugs than just CC, since shit is gonna start lasting..

    It's actually quite fun. I did a PUPburn in KRT using the melee frames and a few well equipped PUPs, plus one WHM and one BRD.
