POL-1160 after moving into dorm?

Just moved into my dorm today, everything internet-wise is completely fine except that I can't connect to Playonline. I get 1160 when it tries to check Playonline version. I don't think I have access to any network-related options, so am I just fucked or what?

sounds like the admins are blocking ports, send a support ticket or call em see what they say, if they say too bad ur fucked, then you're probably fucked unfortunately

Happened when I was going to college, they might be retarded with packet shaping too. Unfortunately, as with the port blocking, you're pretty much fucked that way too.

Go to Start > Run > type in "cmd"
when the black box comes up type: ipconfig/all


Then at the POL screen change your connection settings to use the IP address, subnet, etc etc that you see in that black box. Then see if it lets you connect.
