I was too sleepy to log on last night after work, but I should be on tonight for a good while, probably all night since I can sleep at work tomorrow.

this game is starting to piss me off lol. I was talking to a buddy of mine last week, who is much better at madden than me, and was telling me they really made it harder this season, and I gotta say hes right. plus it seems like Wii has 2 learning curves, did 2 online games, and for the most part felt lost for the entirety of both of them lol. suppose the only thing to do is keep doing online play until it makes sense.

I haven't dared playing Madden high....yet. it kinda sucks though, I was never that good at madden, but good enough that it was always fun to play, the curve seems so much steeper in this one than in years past, that I generally feel lost lol.

I can't stand the xbox360 controls -- why the fuck is there only one button for stiffarm (like all xbox maddens), and now there's no juke, just the hitstick...

There are like, 5 extra open buttons on the xbox controllers, and you give me one button for stiffarm, and i have to point in the direction I'll be doing it? Fuck off!

And to make matters worse, apparently (I played my first 20 mins today, just rushing the ball with Chester Taylor & Adrian Peterson), if you stiffarm, and you're getting tackled, if you press it again and there's a player within like 5m of you (on your team), the ball goes flying out like a lateral. W T F???

USE THE 7 BUTTONS THAT ARE OPEN FOR LATERAL.

So pissed.

But the game looks beautiful, and is a lot more fast-paced

The "hit stick" or "highlight stick" on offense if titled to the left or right jukes. Pressing it forward does the highlight move whether it is running over the opposition or running under their tackle that the smaller backs do. As far as stiff arms, not everyone is an excellent stiff armer but those that are good definitely are good at it. Lawrence Maroney for instance. And I like the stick approach a lot more than the old Madden controls where each button does different things. Though Y does still hurdle, and X does dive. So I'm not sure what all these open buttons you are referring to are?

I'm down, just send a pm whenever. Although the AI on Superstar mode pisses me off. I get a nice 50 yard run, then the next whole quarter is pass plays. Fuck the Jets.

Edit: I think that might've been the first time I've faced the Broncos at all since I got this game. So many defensive weapons it's ridiculous.

Nah, Po has some neat cheat codes that has his recievers jumping like Jordan.

Yea their secondary is insane. Dre Bly, Champ Bailey and John Lynch. I needed a secondary like that though against Chad and TJ, other wise I woulda got lit up.

Chad dropped like 8 catches. Imo, Online plays a little differently, which is why I didn't do so hot I think. I'm used to single player.

I've found that if the defensive player tips it, even if it goes right to the offensive guy he won't catch it. Very rarely do you see tipped balls caught. So a lot of those you are prob counting as drops were the ones that Bailey tipped.

Almost every pick in any game I play, which is usually about 5ish total, is tipped and bobbled by several people.

That's weird. My interceptions are usually just clean catches by the DB's.

lol I don't always play as the Broncos. As I said I usually play as the Lions, with no really good DB's.

I never really saw opponents get picks that way either. Must be your style of play, we'll have to play.

Anyone know if you can change the camera view? From it's default to Madden Long? Or how to insert the L.O.S. mark?
