Anyone know if you can change the camera view? From it's default to Madden Long? Or how to insert the L.O.S. mark?

yea, the line of scrimmage -- in previous maddens you could always insert the los via settings.

I'm not so worried about the LoS as I am about the camera view -- there's no way to get it to madden long, is there? Goddamn you NFL for not allowing the 2k series to compete with Madden...

They haven't changed his commentary in forever. It's been that dumb for several years now.

last Madden i picked up was `05 CE and i know he says some dumb shit, but nothing like that. as a former lineman, i take offense to that line.

During the live broadcast of a game this weekend, madden literally said "If you're hit in the head from behind like that, you're gonna get hurt"

Whats so bad? I got used to them pretty quick after switching to Xbox from ps2 in 06.

There's nothing funner for me than running the football, and I'm just too comfortable with the PS2 controls -- L2/R2 stiffarm, L1/R1 juke, instead of ONE button for stiffarm, and doing so in a direction.

The ps2 controls have a much, much more natural feel to it. Plus, I'm fairly certain the ps2 version will allow you to freaking change camera angles.

I haven't been playing madden since it started, but I have all the ps2 ones starting from Madden 2002, and I always had that backbone of, if I'm going to be disappointed (especially in the era of EA's monopoly on the nfl license), at least being able to fall back on the gameplay. Don't get me wrong, I loved the graphics of the 360 one, and the game just runs so much faster, but I just cant get over the unnatural feel of the controls. Plus, I got offered 500$ for my 360 :D

EA really really should have let me play this game for them before they put it on the shelves.

I think part of the reason I might be trying to get rid of it is that I am absolutely terrible in the passing game on 360. I was getting a bit used to running, but I never was able to have a breakout run, like one of more than 40+ yards, on the allmadden setting. It's not that the opportunity didn't rise, it's that I would get caught doing the wrong motion because of my comfortability and preference of ps2 controls.

Is madden ps3 same controls as ps2?
