I was originally going add another rule set for dropping items when they fall to your inventory, but decided that if something went wrong and the plugin dropped someone's Ridill, I didn't want to be responsible. (Well, actually I would, because that would be fucking hillarious.)Originally Posted by Thevaultdweller

It could potentially be used to setup lots before they drop (if you had priorities already setup, you could make different profiles for people so it auto lots and passes). An example would be a dynamis LS lotting AF. If someone has priority lot on RDM hat, have them download a RDM hat profile, everyone else's profile could be set to pass. Obviously this example wouldn't take into account multiple dropping, but you get the idea.
*You throw away a Ridill.*
Damnit Taj.
I wonder if it'd be possible (i.e. feasible and not too tedius) to obtain a list from the ffxiah.com database associating a mean auction value to each and every item (plus rare/ex, auctionable, and stackable statuses), then distribute that list with the plugin. Then you can put conditions like: if value < 20000 then pass, or if not rare then pass, etc. It'd have to be updated every major patch that introduces new items, or when the economy of a certain item shifts significantly, but as a safety valve, if an item isn't found in the list, just have the plugin ignore it.Originally Posted by Taj

Yeah... I'm dreamin'. +_+
Sorry to hear your interview got cut short Bercus but I think you still got some interesting info out of him. I've heard zero about Windower even with lots of pestering.
Hawt pic, post more next time! :D
That's a really good idea, I'll look into it.Originally Posted by Khamsin
a decent interview. Sadly SE skirted around the questions. Lol.
I thought I told you to resort to threat of physical harm if they tried to avoid the question...

Haha I wish they'd do that. A non-zerged Vrtra is one of the funnest fights in the game in my opinion. Every other damn HNM is pretty easy compared to Vrtras hell zone. This game needs a real challenge, AV is garbage.Originally Posted by Shinebox

I notice on the chart Medusa got more star than hydra on reward, I'm confused, which item exactly from medusa is better than Hydra's drops? Mercenary's Dastanas? Medusa Armet(don't even know what's this for)?

Btw. This were only like 10 of the 36 questions, so there is a lot you guys can look forward too.
Even thought answers might take a long time, it will be brought up to them and who knows... changed too.
You'd think after so much time things like Zhayolm 35s and AV remaining undiscovered or undefeated would be a bit discouraging to them as a company knowing things they spent time putting into the game aren't being utilized at all. Good to know they will show a video at least of an AV fight at the fanfest which could give us some hints to go on.
I can see alot of Ninja lotting and blaming it on the auto lotter. Claiming scripting errors.
For the interview and questions:
Hopefully they will really deliver with this update. It seems they really are listening to the players and trying to avoid unbalancing (Abjurations from Einhejar, Salvage, etc) I'm not saying everything in this game is perfect though, but I am pretty content for now and excited about upcoming changes.
Man you bring it so organized and punctuated to them, they should have appreciated that enough to not only extend your time with them but to be a little more candid with you concerning the issues you brought up. It doesn't make sense that they can't make concise decisions regarding currency, AV, 3 kings, botting and such.
They've always had this attitude of "it will correct itself," when it rarely ever does. But then again it's not like they give two shits when they still have enough of a playerbase on every server grinding away at endgame and just levelling up new jobs and being satisfied with that gear instead.
For one yay im backs, for two you think you could ask more specifically about a haste roll in the questions you asked?
For three get a screenshot of AV doing benediction, and underline that he can use it as many times as he wants. Also get a picture of meteor and everyone taking 2kish dmg and ask them how people are to avoid this. If this doesn't work find the closest cliff and throw them off it D:
Finally four, this may seem pretty minor to all but i think that its fairly important that we bring up to them that their GMs are mainly retarded and should go through a better screening process. As an example show them pictures of a bstmaster getting questioned why hes not killing his pet or that PLD thats not killing fast enough in his earth staff. I'm pretty sure theres been others we need to tell them their GMs are retarded and need to fix it
Man...why is it so hard to give a hint about AV. Next interview/email or something, maybe you should ask them how to deal with 4k dmg meteor and benediction, explaining them it's impossible to survive.
4000dmg meteor = 1600-2000dmg on 10target, enough to kill any healers in the surrounding.
really nice interview.
Thats enough to kill any PC target let alone healers. Except maybe a galka HP monk <,<Originally Posted by Kaylia
